All of this is what kishi was shown when studio Pierrot showed him the movie and he loved it so much that he asked to join the writing team.
I got suckered into something he never intended to make. And he made me love this pairing. I want to cry now. Someone help me.

You made it sound like we bullsh** all the way. You and I know what we see is true, so how is the first person seeing the info is going to lose to the guy who saw it from a third-party source? We are the third party that saw the first party. So that would make others like 5th party or something.
Atheck, I wanted to say this. You're paranoid. And why you should be? You made it sound like we're dealing with a masterpiece or greatness. I'm not sure your inner fan is still there, but I'll say it right now: this series is a mess. I'm not good to say it's always crap or awful because it wasn't. It's just a series. In other words, it's a series that it's not even work up about it. I have posting my LAPs parts addressing how the downfall came about and pretty much expose that the story was never flawless nor made any sense. I always knew it was already shell of former self.
There's a fan for everyone. Right now, you are making it seem like the "winners" are right. There's no right or wrong. Everyone is still the same.
I'm not firmly set within the belief that they'r correct, but to argue that what some of the more capable aspects of the opposing side are presenting as evidence that rescinds much of the stigma that we as an inclined fandom have come to associate with "The Last" is baseless or unfounded I think is a deflection instead of tackling what they're saying. This film isn't a masterpiece, great, or even acceptable to me. However, it is deemed a success in the eyes of so many others, which is what concerns me. And apparently none of us were even aware of the fact this movie was going to premiere in various other countries like Brazil and Thailand, or that it's already become a box office success in Australia. It just shows how cut off we are from the normal stream of information and news releases.
But if you're willing to, why don't you present your arguments to the critics who actually made those posts? I'll offer you the link: http://www.chatte-ge...ruto-the-movie/
Have at it.

At this point, however well the film does doesn't really matter. Everything that happened in that film is...canon. Kishis interviews are officially gospel. And according to him, he wanted nh since around those two became young adults, he chose hinata because she was the first to notice him and "support" him, she realized his efforts were cool, would have felt bad for her if she didn't get rewarded even though Sakura started to notice naruto and acted on it(his words), he killed neji to bring the two together, and because naruto saw how hinata was the first to love him and acknowledge him(several years after the fact). Also, apparently naruto never really knew what romantic love was like, even though he could see it in Sakura towards sasuke and asked his mom how she and minato fell in love. Also, he was unknowingly, unintentionally competing with sasuke for Sakuras love, to prove himself better, even though he only had a crush on Sakura. He also only crushed on Sakura because they both wanted sasuke's acknowledgement.
All of this is what kishi was shown when studio Pierrot showed him the movie and he loved it so much that he asked to join the writing team.

And if this whole thing is true and it doesn't matter after all if it is or not because both scenarios such and the ending and the movie both do - this ruined this series and kishi's credibility. :)

And why is it that this actually marvels you?! We always knew these two fanbases were larger, thus, they'll make it okay in the west. When we talked about NS and SNS as probably being bigger it was always Japan, not western fandom. And the results - non NH/SS japanese fans hate it and even some NH themselves do and have down voted the movie bc it makes Naruto a scum - hello, NH fandom, how does it feel now? type of thing.
This movie is clearly directed at the west which was the point from the very beginning. I mean, hello? We just got confirmation that Kishi watched reviews on YT? Remember what kind of "bright images" we have in this fandom? Come on, Atheck...
Isn't the fact that in our country, neighborhood etc etc everyone else liked NH/SS and we felt like stigmatas and thus came together around?
This isn't something new and isn't something so to brag about, really... we're talking quality here when they're making it seem as it's quantity that matters which furthermore proves their hypocrisy because when we say that in the context of manga development quantity is what matters most along with its quality ofc because that's how an author shows his credibility of how the two supposed future couple will deal the day to day basics etc. Thing which THEY DON'T have in the manga and that's their no. 1 problem.
But of course when we say it simple and blunt, we're hypocrites but when they twist it in this twisting-to-extremes way they are expected to be believed. Because they're the larger fanbase and thus they are right, no?
Ergo, money makes the world go round... which furthermore proves our point EVEN MORE! The no-refunds policy it's just like dust in the eyes from the bigger problems - aka the execution of this movie and Naruto's finale.
THAT'S THE REAL PROBLEM!

But you know what, we were right all along and we aren't alone in this! So it's ok, just support NS and forget about the last
I'm not good at comfort

Thank you guys. I really needed that. I guess it just really hurts to see how someone's perception of true love can be so different from your own, I mean since when did the bonds take the back seat in deciding pairings? Kishi himself said he had no way of making their love story. I guess I always hoped it would take more than "I loved you first" to decide things.

Hey guys, anything new?
Who posted that RaikageXHinata pic? I LOVE YOU!!!
I would sooooo ship that as crack! Much better to look at Hinata obsessed with that BBC... *ahem* instead of being a kittening Mary-Sue who wants Nardo's kitten!
Lol! XD That would be me!

My point is this series is nothing but fandom catering. Let's not forget how much this series gets hated by the mass before it ended. We even have people here hated the series and only there because of one character, not even for pairing. Besides, this site was here for a while so who knows when it all died out. My point is that this series never got the recognition it once had in the past. It's no GoT or BB or any top tier series caliber. It's just a series.

I found out the reason why JP NS fans aren't doing much of anything is because NH are terrorizing them that NS fan are laying low and locking their accounts also on a brighter note, they do celebrate April 3rd for NSWhat happen?

Pretty much. I was talking with someone from JP and was saying something like how the western view got to them or idk, something around that idea.
Don't you remember that even in the reported comments there is someone who comments on NH fans' behavior that they go and harass you everywhere you express your opinion and that they were glad that that respective thread is away from NH fans or something like this?
Apparently the behavior is common in most of NH fandom despite the nationality.
I think in the end it's pretty much the same situations as here, overseas... everyone was minding their own ship with the general consensus that NaruSaku will be canon because shonen genre and because it wasn't that type of the manga or else SNS would take us all, lol.
But being what it is, it was NS with its darker counterpart hinted, SK and ta-kittening-da... everyone was shipping their ship without minding the others, but nh-ers can't accept the fact that well...the manga showed what it showed and apparently it's like I said, no matter where u are from.
Idk, I'll try looking for the comment, haha, but I remember that this was the general implication of that comment.

Okay, though I appreciate the spiel, how does it begin to address the points made by these posters?
About the credibility of the negative hating comments, 99% of them not only copy-pasted directly from 2chan but also were only ranting about “Hinata f*** you, f*** you Kishimoto, NaruHina sucks”, and none of them mentioned anything about the movie itself like visuality, music ect. Oh, wait, there was one arguing about the chakra cannon of Kumogakure, forgetting that the cannon was built 2 years after the war. But the legendary “Kakashi would never sending people to a dangerous mission only basing on his 6th sense” crap, while forgetting that the “real Kakashi” was able to believe that a tiny little speech will make Sasuke forgetting about revenge and believing that Sakura wouldn't try to join into his and Sasuke’s fight.
Is this true? Ramen did admit to the information he was relaying to us came specifically from the anti-Hinata and anti-TL threads on 2chan. Cherry-picking responces from specific groups of people doesn't paint a broader picture of dislike or animosity felt towards the movie.
“Trustworthy translators”, you mean those NS translators who denied to translate the spoilers of chapter 699 and chapter 700 because of NH and SS happened?
Narutoforums is much greater in size compared to the fringe community here. It stands to reason that with greater accessibility to the fans there would come more people from Japan interested in becoming involved in translations for the Western audience. And thus far, no one here has brought up any of the translators that are active on NF besides takL. Where do they stand on the issue regarding the movie?
1.While RTN started at 3rd place then fell out after it’s third week from the top 10, The Last not only got the 1st place that only the Ninja Clash In The Land Of Snow managed, but got the 2nd place too and stayed withing the top 10 for 5 weeks and only fell out after it and even only to the 11th place.

2.Despite all of the NS trollings, the box office of The Last didn’t reduced, infact, it is now officialy around 1.9 billion yen (according to churchyll, it was 1.75 billion yen at the end of 2014 december) and not only has the movie 4-5 weeks in japan left, but since they added the foreign showing box offices to the final box office of RTN, they will surely do the same to The Last, and the The Last will be shown in the USA + Brasil + Australia + New-Zeland + Thailand + Singapore and so on. Oh, wait, I forgot: they will showing in Asutralia again because the first time was already a succes.3.While the only site you can show up is Yahooo, eiga, moviewalkerplus, anikore and other official movie and anime sites giving decent and good reviews. Also, there are no “bad reviews” on youtube, but not even on niconico. Two of the referenced countries don't even qualify as being Western. If this phenomenon of positive complacent thought towards "The Last" was only exclusive to a certain region of the world then how does that account for its acceptance into other non-Western cinemas or amongst its fans? You heard this person. Supposedly the negative reception is concentrated in a few select sites. Were the stigma a commonplace opinion, it would be seen throughout all of the websites, not just one or two.Links to theater refund policies. Notice how it applies to ALL MOVIES IN THE THEATER. It doesn’t single out “THE LAST” . There’s no “Special No-Refund Policy” just for the Naruto movie. It’s a blanket policy for ANY MOVIE that’s shown for the movie. It’s a no-refunds given REGARDLESS OF WHAT MOVIE THAT YOU WATCH.And here:And here:Okay, so there's no selective policy for "The Last" alone. Where did people get the notion that Pierrot is trying to protect their earnings through fradulent business practices with refunds anyway?
Did you just saw what we talked here besides what you said? Me and @NarutoFireFoxUzumaki already referred that. If you patch these things together you can actually understand why, what and how.
I really don't have the time to come back with a response right now cuz I have things to do, the very reasons I couldn't respond to them by now either, however I will address it when I'll have time because apparently it needs to be drawn explicitly or else people don't get it...
