I must confess, I literally don't know what Kishi is doing anymore...


To be honest I'm not at all surprised that Kishi does this considering that he may have had a lot of positive reviews from SS fans in the last chapter. So making this to keep that fandom happy even just for a little while would be smart move on his part instead of completely halting it in the last chapter. :) lol

I have to say I'm quite disappointed. Not because of the color page itself but by what Kishi is doing...at this point, it's intentional playing with the pairings, no matter if NS becomes canon or not in the end. You can't just get past that...idk.

Like I said this just discredits NS as a legit paring he's literary screwing with us  so much love for NS he has why not give something like this to NS ? Right now i don't even think he's serious about NS .

If Naruto and Hinata are next to Sasuke and Sakura, it will mean that is going to milk every last drop of the fandom as much as he can. It makes sense if the upcoming movie will be the official last one it will mean the manga will end by late November. This will be Kishi's last chance to please all fandoms before he drops the big bomb. Just when they expect NH and SS happening Kishi trolls them and unleashes the ultimate NS moment.

Well looking at this cover page, yes she still is. No matter what the fans of Sakura say, Kishi is saying she still is a fangirl.


Good for the people who believe that this is definitive confirmation of anything pairing related. Personally, I have the impression that the colour spread might be somehow related to the movie and that it's to misdirect. Kishi certainly isn't above such tactics since he used them prior to Road to Ninja with a colour spread depicting a flirtatious Sasuke with Sakura and an erotic Hinata with Naruto.

These sentiments for Sasuke are nothing new. Hell! Ino still harbours feelings for the man and her only arguement for those affections was because of looks, talent, and reptuation. This isn't something that's going to be resolved until the end.

Looking at the whole thing, I'm more angry as a Sakura fan than a anti-SS, the SS thing doesn't even bother me anymore, it's the fact that Sakura is there doing nothing, while she has a gun, while the boys are fighting. Really...? This is shoking me as a Sakura fan, she looks like a damsel in distress once again. 

Now that I'm cooled down and used to that picture, I'm not bothered by SS on the cover, as LadyGT said, it's just a cover. But I'm not getting over that Anti-Sakura undertone in it.
