I'm going to post something on my thoughts why NaruSaku has an extremely low probability to happen if i had to take a guess it wouldn't be over 20% and could be less and as for the NaruHina one i will focus on it at another time but i'm going to give it maybe a 50%-60% chance. ( Has nothing to do with any biases since i like both parings and can prove so)

The fact that Sakura loves Sasuke, this seems to both quite a bit of people probably because it isn't to developed or because of which paring they ship but it's a fact that she loves Sasuke and not Naruto no matter how many try to refute it or just don't believe it.

This one i'm not entirely sure about but it was during and one of the old interviews that kishimoto did, the part i want to point out is when he was talking about the kiss that happened between Naruto and Sasuke in chapter one was put there do something different like kiss between rivals and give birth to a love triangle between Naruto Sakura and Sasuke and add more tension between thier interaction and have it continued over the course of the manga. http://www.articlecl...nterview/914715  http://www.pokebeach...or-naruto-manga

 

Part 1- At first this was just a schoolgirl crush and infatuation but at some point off screen it evolved into genuine love at some point before chapter 181 in which she confirmed that she loves Sasuke, but that couldn't keep him in Konhoa because of his thirst for vengeance and out of desperation she pleaded to Naruto to bring Sasuke back which he promised to do even at the cost of his happiness.

Part 2 - Sakura continued love for Sasuke has been a point of much contention on the forums but regardless of if we like or not i don't see it changing, i'm going to break it down starting with the events up to and after the summit.

In chapter 453 where they announced that Sasuke will be excuted Sakura broke down and this lead to Naruto to try and help by taking a beating from the kumo shinobi until Sai intervenes and stops it. This leads directly to Sai telling Sakura that Naruto loves her and that she causes him pain which she replies the fool is in love with me and let me handle it.

And then she talks with the Konhoa 13 and comes up with her plan to try and stop Naruto from continuing his quest to bring back Sasuke and ease his pain which leads into her fake confession, which completely backfired because he knew she was lieing and this was confirmed by Sai clone who has figured out what Sakura was up to an told Naruto that she was planning to kill Sasuke to stop him from being consumed by hatred and Naruto disbelieves at first but i think he realizes how far Sakura is willing to go. ( Personally or me it killed almost any chance of the paring for me. ( 453-474)

All of those chapters lead up to the events of 482-487 in which Sakura decides to try and kill the one she loves and fails on 3 separate occasion getting saved by Kakashi twice and Naruto once, durring all this the first time Karin saw her she said to herself that this girl must love Sasuke to and when Sakura breaks down crying Karin tells Sakura that you won't be able to reach the current Sasuke and latter after Sasukes confrontations with Kakashi and Naruto she tells herself that she wasn't ready or prepared for it and has hope that everyone on team 7 can be happy and has faith in Naruto and Sasuke that things will work out. ( Not sure if you can count this but the Narutopedia page on Sakura says something along those lines in the personality part http://naruto.wikia....i/Sakura_Haruno) Chapter 539-540 in this chapter a soldier approaches Sakura with a love letter and asks her out to which she replied i'm sorry but i can't I already have some one i love and the soldier asks about what kind of person he is and Sasuke face apears which once again proves she loves Sasuke and NOT NARUTO.

The events of 631 and 632 are a point many people don't seem to agree with, mainly Naruto's whole " confession" and what it means exactly, some people think it's a joke, others think he's getting back at her for her fake confession in 469-470. Which is what i'm starting to belive also i'm not sure if it's accurate but the Narutopedia page on Sakura personality seems to say that the reason why Sakura headbuts Naruto is because he lied to Minato and casts a lot of doubt on the whole Sakura and Kushina comparison and in 632 has Sakura putting Sasuke first in her thoughts and thanking and blushing when Sasuke saves her along with Naruto who gets pretty much ignored by her.

Many people including myself aren't entirely sure how exactly this works but even after Sasuke tries to killher it doesn't seem to have changed her feelings for Sasuke and the fact she still loves him.

Also Kishimoto himself has confirmed many times in interviews that Sakura loves Sasuke and in databooks. Also says that he already has everything planned out and probably won't be changing anything so it looks like people might just have to deal with the Sasuke and Sakura paring even if we don't like it, don't ship it or just don't belive it can happen.

Did that person forgot the "Naruto is close..." line, or how the databook listed her "Worried...", or how the databook strongly hinted that her feelings for Naruto is much more than friends, let alone not knowing, or how we know already that she loves Sasuke but Naruto is in questioned, not confirmed, or how that person forgot to mention all the 3rd party hints on Sakura as well as teases and parallels, or how Naruto never ever let go of his feelings, or....should I go on?

Heh for NS to happen we expect that Sakura will fall in love with Naruto and act on those feelings.And we got small hints of that happening. If her feelings were flat out exposed then there wouldn't be any headache.
Now the story has a lot of unrequited love but it seems only NS evolved from unrequited to something mutual "more or less"

the point is the fact that NH fandom see NS as a comical duo, a joke where there's nothing of some real romantic development. Right so, just only a comical couple where nothing's real. Naruto's crush for her is comical and Sakura sees him as a brother.

While SS fandom doesn't care about Naruto's feelings, they just think that in her heart there's only Sasuke and their development is positive and Naruto is the first fanboy of this couple (about this they could be right but not at whole)...

You know, I might be the only thinking this but this part seems to be not yet solved when you really think about it. This is more about Naruto only because usually she will say something about being strong as her team. In this case, it's about how supportive can she be with Naruto. In fact, did this part even show up in 632? If that's the case, then that must be mean this part is different case from her being in the same level. Dang, is it coincidence that Yamato is not there? I'm beginning to think Kishi is avoiding these for a reason. Maybe he'll show up very soon. Maybe.

Isn't Sakura much faster now, let alone stronger? People made it sound like she got to fist to fist, but it's all about outsmarting your opponent. I mean she can hit the ground and mess up anyone's balance. She clearly got the upper hand, especially when she has smarts in her. Not to mention, a chance of her more power coming up, let alone releasing the seal.

Naruto's intelligence is still fairly questionable but he has become more strategically and philosophically acute, albeit some of his decisions relating to the latter were somewhat extreme like declaring he would die with Sasuke if he was unable to reform him and later in this war his belief that he would endure the totality of the enemy's "hatred" (apparently a seemingly automatous creature like White Zetsu and a collection of mindless zombies were fighting due to their hatred of the world) whilst preventing any and allpossible deaths.

 

I believe that Naruto still has some room for development, especially if he wants to become Hokage which requires as much of a practical mentality as it does physical ability or emotional dedication. Even then does anyone believe that Naruto would honestly find happiness by sitting behind a desk and completing paperwork for the majority of his life? It's a political position as well, not just a title designating you as the most powerful or beloved shinobi in your village.

 

As for Sakura, she has made considerable progress with attaining "earth". Now with her recent developments she is beginning to truly resemble Tsunade's inheritor. The seal she has can only provide so much chakra before its supply is depleted and as we witnessed in P1 where Tsunade quickly began to lose stamina to the point where her youth transformation technique failed the summoning technique consumes a large amount of chakra. Of course it is possible that Sakura's precise chakra control abilities may have enabled her to use smaller amounts of her reserves during the process. It's currently unknown how long it would take for additional chakra to be gathered but it may not take quite as long since Sakura will have become accustomed to the seal.

Yeah your right, Naruto sitting behind a desk pencil pushing is never going to happen. I think Sakura/shika will be the one to do that, Naruto will be frontline adventuring all the time

What I was trying to say is that the situation she had back in KN4 incident was not the same as being strong as the team, but rather being helpful to Naruto. Usually, she will think about both of them but in this case, it's as if she was exposing too much of her hidden feelings. I guess that's why Yamato came to that conclusion. That moment was more about her feelings to Naruto, not about catching up, especially since the answer is not the same as getting strong, rather being there for him. If Yamato was there, he may not comment the same thing like, "There you go! That's what I meant." It's a different situation. So, is it possible that this part is still unresolved altogether, let alone the unfinished sentence?

You know, what did Kushina do during Minato's time of Hokage? It seems a wife of Hokage plays a role, though I'm only guessing for Mito and judging from Hiruzen's wife in that flashback.

Never did said that they are at the peak of their development right now. Just that with Sakura's power up what Iruka said about becoming stronger for the both of them pretty much became true.
