That would be funny but I don't think that Tsunade was Kushina's sensei because if she was then Kushina would probably have been a Medical-nin and as Kushina her self said she wasn't good at ninjutsu, although that would match with her taijutsu, plus if Kushina was Tsunade's student personally I think it would have been mentioned at some point like when Tsunade and Jiraiya had their last talk or when Kushina was telling Naruto about her past, but hey we went 11-12 years before we know Sakura's parents names so anything could happen.
I once had a though that Sakumo (Kakashi's dad) could've been Kushina's sensei and her teammates we're Shibi and Hizashi but I do like the possablity of Kizashi being on Kushina's team.

Tobirama got his own genin squad. so did Sarutobi and Jiraiya and Minato and even Kakashi.
So does this mean Naruto is going to get his own team? Will we see them before the end of the series? Or perhaps in a epilogue?

Sukumo was on the level of all the Sanin, that includes Tsunade, you know...
I thought Tsunade might be a logical choice since she and Kushina were cousins, Tsunade knew all about Kushina's fighting style and how similar Naruto's was to hers.
As for Hizashi and Shibi being team mates of Kushina, I don't think that would work out chronologically- the Hyuga twins were three years older than Shibi, and it's kind of hinting that Minato and Kushina were age peers with Mikoto Uchiha, who was two years younger than the Hyuuga twins and a year older than Shibi…
Oh and a Sensei doesn't necessarily have anyone on their Genin team that has their skills, look at Team 8- not one of the members is a genjutsu type like Kurenai.

why do anime companies think their fans are so stupid they need a recap epiaode every now and again.???
if you watch the friggin show you should know what has been going on...
maybe it is so they can give the teams a bit of a breather...

As for their designs, all we have is one small, bad quality colored picture, and a couple of rough sketches. I think we should wait to see them animated and in action in the movie (and possibly in Road to Sakura) before automatically judging them harshly. Their personalities seem like they'll be quite interesting characters too; physical appearance isn't the only thing we should base judgment on.
The pictures I saw didn't show anything like that. But oh well.

I don't know if that is true, and I want to know where you heard it from, but I won't be disappointed if it turns out to be true. It sounds like it will be pretty much a recap episode, but through Sakura's point of view. I had a feeling it was going to be something like these. I believe that filler episode should focus on Naruto and Sakura ''relationship'', and possible through flashback establish how Sakura's opinion of Naruto has changed. But not only that, also how her opinion of Sasuke has change, and how her outlook of life has also change.
It will be interesting to see things through Sakura's perspective, though I doubt we will learn anything new or surprising. Even if it doesn't turn out to be a recap episode, I still hope it will focus on Naruto and Sakura's dynamic, reminding viewers how they work together right before the movie comes out.

If Kishi also took charge of the Road to Sakura episode that could be the case. I still remember how in the interview with Kishi that addressed Sakura's confession he felt shocked at how one of the VAs, who was asking him questions, thought that Sakura was just using Naruto's feelings for her benefit and he countered by saying he wanted to depict her as an "honest girl with a surprisingly stubborn impression".
He then said "so she became such a girl", as if lamenting that he failed to properly show her character. If the Road to Sakura episode were to address her confession maybe Sakura's thoughts will be shown to the audience in the way Kishi wanted it to be originally.

Maybe, but that will just make the manga only fans angry that they have to watch an episode, a filler episode by the way, from the anime to find out if she was being honest, rather than finding out in the manga.

I don't know. I actually quite enjoy filler. I don't really find it too interesting to watch what I've already read. Especially if it ends up like the Pain fight (jello face no jutsu!). I like the filler just so we can have more whacky adventures with the Naruto crew. *flails arms randomly*

To be honest, I heard it from a very unreliable source. Is not through the internet so I don't have a website. Also If it doesn't turn out to be true, and it is an episode focused mostly on Sakura, then we have to take notice that this is Studio Pierrot...and every chance they get to push NaruHina and SasuSaku they will do it to an extreme level. I just fear if it is a recap episode, because knowing them, they will diminish Sakura's character by going all Gaga for Sasuke.
