Kishi only good at introduction character.
To develop character, not so much.

That's why many said that chunin exam is the best/favorite arc in naruto.
Because that's when other character beside main cast get introduce.

I still can't get used to how so many talk about a character as if they're real. Like what Sarada said was something she herself came up with. I can't differentiate like that. Everything I read I know comes from one place, the author. He's successfully made people care about another character. I used to say he wasn't very good at writing. I'm starting to rethink that with all the interest he's just drummed up. Now I think he might actually know how to write in certain aspects. He just has terrible ideas and poor execution.

 

I think he has a penchant to write drama, pointless drama but drama nonetheless, maybe shonen isn't his place after all, he would be better writing soap operas

Keep in mind this series is only suppose to last 10-12 chapters. So it's going to be super dragged out as the original series, although something tells me it's a possibility. However I'd prefer it to be chapter 10 enough for one volume that way certain peeps wouldn't have to spend like $20+ cause I've desperate manga fans do that for a series they are invested in. Simple 1 Volume = 10 chapter = Naruto Gaiden there simple. However if there is one thing we know popularity clearly seems to  play I mean Bakuman does explain what could possibly be going on behind the scenes when it comes to the mangaka and the manga industry. 

 

 

From what I remember this spin off's tag line was something along the lines of "Konoha budding story" or some kitten like that I don't know. As for Sarada yeah I'll admit I do feel like we are hyping her up, but all I can say is she has potential. That potential can be easily taken away when it comes to Kishi consider how his original series turned out.

l don't get what "interest" you're talking about, seems to me the reactions of the fanbase are overwhelmingly negative. lf anything this premise only shows his lack of talent because he's going to end that garbage with a happy ending and there's just no way it'll be convincing to anyone but the most rabid shippers.

That's what they say in the data books and stuff, but for example: Obito was pronounced deceased for a very long time after the Kakashi Gaiden fillers and shown in the data books and wiki that his status was deceased before much later in the war arc to be the fake Madara. And you remember all the NS hints and build ups written in the data books, especially the fourth book which came out three chapters before the last.

The data books cannot be trusted until the end game comes out. So SS better be praying to Kami that this is not a red herring.

 

Speaking is the Kobayashi interview about Sakura's character and the fans backlash on the assistant's twitter, I wonder if Kishi did to the SS has anything to do with the backlas. Is he finally regretting his decisions on the end game pairings that he secretly redone the storyline for the spinoff at the very last Minute because this Mitsuji blue boy just came out of the blue.

Naruto should've ended up with Sakura.  He would've gotten the girl he loved and Sakura would've gotten saved from the gutter.  And Sasuke wouldn't have been branded as an a**hole father who abandoned his own child.  Kishimoto ruined them.

Who knows chances will increase by 50% chance if Kishi takes cheap shots at the NH pairing in the next chapter.

@Dario: I'm just talking about the overall interest, negative or not. People are still talking about it and some are already taking a liking to Sarada as a character. That's interest. But I don't disagree with you about a crappy ending.

 

@Aizen: If kishi had stuck to the story he wrote through the first 2/3 of the manga it would've ended in NS and it would've made so much more sense.
