This always seemed more like a realization for me. She really didn't strike me as jealous in the scene. She just looked really sad

Haha, that's what happened to me. I couldn't stand the art style, so I watched the anime, then when the Shippuden saga started, I started reading the manga as well. The art became much more palatable by then.

You should give it a go again, the storyline is absurdly fantastic, Oda is a great writer.

I tried once but I never managed to get into One Piece. The animation style was almost as weird as the manga and the storyline never picked me up. The only shonen series I read are Naruto and Bleach.

meh i get into a lot of things including manwha.  Heck i'm addicted to Tower of God right, it's quite possible the greatest Asian comic i've read out of the hundreds i've followed so far.
