it's not mutual naruto didnt hold her hand because he has "choose" her or have romantic feelings towards her, for me it's an interpretation of her development is done.

By 442 page 1 we can all accept that Sakura loves Naruto do to the fact that after acknowledging Hinata's feelings she wasn't happy about them and even learning such revelation she still decided to hug Naruto in such a passionate way? Kishimoto spend so much time showing that Naruto love for Sakura is Selfless.

If Kishimoto wanted to nail that point then I applaud him, but if he see this as a great romantic moment then I feel pity for him.

We don't know what will happen in the end, but one thing for sure, Kishi invested a lot of time on Naruto and Sakura dynamic when he could focus instead on NH and SS.

It's very smart to be open minded since it help you deal with stuff you didn't wish to see happening, but always using negative speculation is ridiculous for a pro NS fan, it's almost like people just don't have faith that NS will happen, if that is the case why bother pointing up your negative views when others wants to look on things a positive way.

If you don't have faith in your pairing just take a step back, because you are not helping.

I think it's just a matter of endure, let's wait 2 or 3 chapters until this settle down, if Naruto does not show any romantic hints towards Hinata so NaruxHina is pretty screwed up.
Because it's most probably a NS scene and now with April approaching we will have to movie + NS moment = CCCcombo.

So much win. I like how some people are panicking off of a possible NH(Naruto holding Hinata's fingers) color page. So what? At least it's staying consistent from the last chapter instead of jumping to Sasuke and co. I wouldn't want to imagine what that would have led too.

He just stated that to NH be canon it must have mutual and have development which we only see from Hinata's side.
While Naruto rescued Hinata dont you remember, everyone looked at her because she lose confidence on herself then naruto comes and do that pep talk, then she keep going, until come her resolution, "i'll hold your hand, and walk with you" i thought it was a "walk with you" was naruto and hinata walking together but no it turned out to be another stuff, walk with you turned out to be "i will be at his side" just like the others and hold your hand is what's happening now.
She had no confidence and in a matter of few chapters she became what's she's now, naruto's feelings for her did not change ti's the same, no hints of romantic feelings from him until now, so we have 616 and probably 617, if he does not show any hints so it's proves what he said before.

About Mina/Kushi parallel with Naru/Sakura it's already canon and proved.

Look, i think everyone here knows that NH has a chance to become canon, but why worry about it and start whining that its canon and that NS most likely wont, if theres not even evidence to proove that. Its ok to have doubts, but i think theres no need to write 100 pages full of them.

But this chapter wasn't just from Hinata's side. Naruto initiated the hand holding, before that he squeezed her hand which was on his face, thanked her for being there for him, and thought of Neji's last words "your life is not your own" when staring openly at Hinata. 615 wasn't one-sided, and that's the issue. I don't know if he likes her now or what, but his responses to her clearly romantic movements are positive and can be seen as encouraging. You'd think he'd understand that. Naruto isn't completely oblivious after all.

Make no mistake if he does go this route it is terrible development. Kishimoto would have to slide Naruto's feelings under the rug and continue what he's been doing, which is sticking Sakura to the background.

Am pretty sure many of the users here accepted the fact that NH chances just went up, the moment Sakura said that she will never love Naruto, and Naruto say that he doesn't love Sakura anymore because he loves Hinata, that is the time we should all accept that NS will never happen, in the mean time NS fans have all the right to speculate event that favors their pairing, after all this is a NS forum.

My point is that the other pairing got major blows towards their pairing, but they never stop believing that their OTP would one day become canon, Sakura has never stated her feelings for Naruto and Naruto has not stated that he loves Hinata or stop loving Sakura, but because you cannot handle this moment you prefers to be pessimistic about it and calling everyone denial when you like myself don't know how the hell this manga will end.

AzureWaters, let me save you some trouble. Don't be realistic about NaruSaku/NaruHina here. People will say you're being negative and annoying and that you aren't a "real" NaruSaku fan. It's best to go to a forum that isn't completely biased and state your feelings there because they will not be accepted here.

the next two chapters will be the last two chapters of volume 64, I believe these two following chapters will be the conclusion of the Hyuuga Arc and in particular about Hinata's development. From 618 there'll be a new arc corcening other rookies.... At least still hope it'll be so.

My posts aren't meant to intentionally upset the others here, but from my perspective its a bit boggling to see so many of you turn your head against this chapter.

I'll say this. Kishimoto may use Sakura's panel to bring her to a realization, but if she just ignores whats going on between Naruto and Hinata than it doesn't look good.

So what you think this doesn't bother me? I'm very worry about the possible outcome of the Manga pointing to a NH resolution, but in the mean time that hasn't happen I'm have a lot more reason to believe NS will happen, why? Because the only reason why I want Naruto to reaffirm his feelings for Sakura is to put some glue on those NH fans saying that he doesn't love her after her fake confession nothing else. My focus on the relationship is on Sakura not Naruto, the Manga has giving us many reasons to believe that Sakura might harbor romantic feelings for Naruto and if Sakura doesn't stated that she will never love Naruto, then NS by far has a more solid reason to become a pairing since it goes hand and hand with the event we gotten so far in the Manga.
