Seriously, people are over analyzing every little non-important detail. If she blushed so what. Sakura always blushed when anyone ever did anything romantic for her. She blushed at Rock Lee a few times too if I recall.

If someone gave you a rose, you'd blush too.

I'm surprised that someone didn't take Hinata yelling at Naruto for a love confession. Just let things be. In reality pairings mean so little to the Naruto series as Kishimoto writes it. It just us shipping fans that make everything into something it's probably not.

I have to get something off my chest:

I'm getting tired of seeing this rant every time I come on H&E. "Too much over-analyzing, too much shipping, people should back off and be realistic." And this is from lots of posts, not just one person.

This is an NS forum. Discussing shipping and details — despite what you think is "overanalyzing" or not — is completely acceptable.

If you have a problem with that, there are plenty of other forums to go to.

No more criticizing of fellow posters and their opinions. Keep your posts centered on your own opinions of NS, and everyone will be happy!

I've taken a break from posting here because I've been so fed up with the constant "Gah, get real people!" sort of comments. But I think it's really getting out of hand. I'm seeing several of these every day. And the negativity on the board is really turning me off from posting altogether.

As far as the movie, the blush vs. no blush, no one has any room to criticize another person's opinion because these previews and sneak peeks were put out there to get people to speculate about what's going to happen.

So just enjoy it. We'll have the real trailer soon enough. And if someone doesn't agree with your point of view, then post your own opinion of what's happening in NS. Not your opinion of other people's reactions.

edit: I'm not singling anyone out. I just think it needs to stop. Everyone needs to keep the focus on NS.

And at Sakura's parent designs. her pops looks like a "whatever go-with-the-flow" dude and her mom has flock of seagulls hairdo. One of the pictures does kind of portray her dad as mischievous. After all the suspense of who they are and what they're like, this is them? I hope they get different outfits because those are pretty blase. LOL, I kid of picture her mom tossing on a leather jacket and riding around on a hog taking guff from no one.

Yeah, I have to be honest I was actually disappointed with their designs.... Mebuki doesn't look bad, though. Kizashi, on the other hand... If his hair was supposed to resemble a sakura flower, I kinda would've liked it if the 5 points of his hair was spikier. That would've made his character design more subtle.

With all the rp gamers on this forum it startles me that I, a non gamer have to point out a kind of old D&D style RPG set up of Tobi Madara's genjutsu world. (maybe it's because I'm much closer to Kishimoto's age than most of you, thus Kishimoto would have been exposed to a similiar style D&D style RPG... and probably like me been intrigued by the concept but found the actual gaming tedious. I found the old D&D novel series much more interesting than the gaming. My younger sister too, both of us found the concept interesting but actual gaming boring, but my younger sister was an enthusiastic fan of the novels, especially the Rasslyn ones. )

Tobi Madara is an Evil Dungeon Master, Naruto and Sakura are the Player characters- alignment Good- probably Chaotic Good for Naruto and Lawful Good for Sakura. Minato and Kushina are sort of Naruto's NPC, since it sounds like they will turn out to have not been the only ones not generated by Tobi Madara. Minato Lawful Good, Kushina Chaotic Good. Sasuke and Hinata are stealth evil characters created by Tobi Madara, designed to keep Naruto and Sakura separated from each other.

It's likely as long as Sakura is there to protect Naruto and Naruto is there to protect Sakura Tobi Madara cannot extract the Kyuubi from Naruto and cannot kill Sakura. Genjutsu Hinata will almost surely be running down Sakura, trying to plant doubts in Naruto's mind about her- think Hinata's alignment as Lawful Evil. Genjutsu Sasuke will be trying to distract Sakura with seduction techniques- think of Sasuke's alignment as Chaotic Evil. All of Madara's characters will be evil in some way because they will have been created to separate Naruto and Sakura... the Konoha ones will be stealth evil where the Akatsuki will be the obvious evil characters...

So you're saying its going to be one big conspiracy to keep Naruto and Sakura apart?

I agree that the characters are put in to distract Sakura and Naruto, but the reason for that is because Tobi wants to keep them both in the genjutsu. Its already confirmed that Minato and Kushina will be the main cause of Naruto's hesitation to leave. I find it hard to think that Hinata will say anything at all mean or insulting about Sakura. I think she'll be demanding and aggressive towards Naruto, but won't actively be trying to sabotage him. The rookies and the others have all changed personalities, but they are not evil puppets.

If this DOES happen, its like Kishimoto's high-fiving all NaruSaku fans, because; a) This movie's set in an alternate reality, where everything in the canon is completely reversed, and b) Read point 1 again. If Sasuke likes Sakura in the movie, its proof of it never becoming canon in the real manga!
3) Naruto and Hinata. I don't exactly know what's going on between the two of them, so I've nothing to say here.
4) Naruto and Sakura. This is the only pairing that, if it happens in the movie, would make sense in the canon, because the two of them are the only ones who are aware of the setting of the movie being an alternate reality! So if they were to hook up, it'd mean that they'd carry those feelings on into the real mangaverse!

Is nice that you want to keep yourself open minded about the issue as I mention before I respect you for that, is better that fabricating stuff just so you could sleep better at night, but everyone here is smart enough to understand that the Author intends counts, I doubt Kishi is making the movie just to make the SS and NH fan happy so later he can make the NarutoSaku fans happy in the Manga. Who know if after Kishi made the scrip for the fifth movie and the Anime studio decide to make so many changes, he wanted to take care of this movie himself.

So not because This is a movie and not the real Manga you can disqualify the user assumption, the Author intent and his taste.

I was thinking, remember how Naruto says "I'll protect my family no matter what"? I at first thought that he was just referring to his parents, but if that was the case I think he would have just said "I'll protect my parents".

But, anyway, the fact is that SS is never becoming canon. For reasons we all know, and, seeing that I've got a deficit in my theory, I'll side with the one that says Hinata and Sasuke are there only to distract Naruto and Sakura.

Just out of curiosity, was someone saying something about KibaHina? [Hehe, just that it intrigued me. ]

Obviously he was referring to "everyone" as his family. Team seven, the Konoha eleven, Iruka, Konohamaru, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shizune all of these people he sees them as his family. And of course Minato and Kushina.

Update on Mebuki and Kizashi:

So this just confirms what we originally thought, that her father is calm and her mother seems strict. This also implies (strongly implies actually) that her father is hokage, or WAS hokage.

Mebuki is "scary when angry", then it seems she would get along with Kushina very well if they met. Actually I get the idea that both sets of parents would get along great with each other. They seem like the perfect in-laws.

So Sakura and her mom quarrel for all eternity?
