Well, SS-shippers state that Sasuke first of all made sure that Kakashi could handle the situation and only then went to save Naruto. In other words, Sasuke cares, and Sakura thanked Naruto not for saving her and Kakashi (and considering them his dear nakama) but for letting her know that Sasuke still cares. ХD

Sakura thanked Naruto for considering her and Kakashi enough important to save her no matter the situation. That's how I've interpreted it.

Sasuke looks like a fool to me. If Kakashi and Sakura died then Naruto would be affected in the most possible negative way. A disheartened Naruto means a huge battle disadvantage. Yes, Sakura and Kakashi are distractors, but lettig them perish would only worsen everything, including the narusasu-work.

Is that a reason or excuse? Again, I stopped reading Fruits Basket when I thought it got bad and I never finished the series. I basically read the ending that was it. I also stopped watching Gurren Lagann for the same reason and again only saw the last chapter/episode.

I guess the point I am making is, if it really was that bad....we wouldn't be this entertained. All this drama is kind of fun or at least we find entertainment in it. It's get our blood pumping and adrenaline rushing.

Her crawling into herself to Sasuke's comments is somewhat annoying and I won't say it is wrong of you there. Even I feel it needs to stop and she should stop giving f**cks to Sasuke whose opinion should not concern her. But it is not that SS is shown in a positive light. It is negative all the way while NS is positive! Who knows maybe she'll bounce back at Sasuke putting his words down to dirt! And this will be because Sasuke put her down? And she'll finally do that, she ought to! Leaving her like that is not good for her character

I noticed. That is why i said, relax, and that is also why I ask her to provide a concrete proof that what she do is a gesture that she is still the immature, fangirling girl she used to be. And, if it was because of the recent few chapters, I think she shouts 'Narutooooo!!' far outweigh anything she had done for 'Sasuke-kun!'. LOL, she had been doing that since the start of P2. Please prove me that I am wrong, I will gladly admit it. 

 

Between them, they do have some unfinished business. Remembers that she confessed to him? The bench scene? Ring any bells? See that how she was beginning to move away, slowly and painfully (for us the readers). And his opinion are what something necessary for her to slowly and painfully (for us) to move away from him. Don't question Kishi, or you will be b*tchslap by him. BUT, she is more DISTURB when Naruto was saying something NEGATIVE ABOUT HER. Did you read the recent chapter? I suggest you do as soon as possible.

lol , Kishi got y'all exactly where he want y'all lol , y'all got to admit he wrote the story in such way that y'all just can't possibly stop reading it , y'all have to read it to the end now lol . He writes the scenes a little confusing at times but in reality and if we notice the message it always ends up to Naruto defending his Sakura-Chan , Naruto comforting her or protecting her . It's all a set up for NS , lol y'all don't need to worry bout nothing NS will happen .

I wouldn't say so but I think he checked. Because he was able to tell to Naruto how Kakashi saved Sakura, Obito and himself.

As I said in 680's topic, I think Kishi wants to make it subtle that Sasuke might still care, or at least that he will care later on, because the way Naruto is picking on him is pointing that way.  IMO.

 

However, this is NOT a SasuSaku moment at all, this is just going the way it will all end. Team7 together again.

Sakuras role has been slow lately, but I still say that becasue she is around, there has to be more for her than just having 1 attempt at hitting madara and needing to go through this emotional impact on sasuke, I mean if anything its anti ss which is a funny thing and just today plain proves he didnt care or save her and kakashi out of the goodness of his heart, only out of them being near naruto. It wasnt any NS moment, but sakura thanking naruto after hearing what they both said was good in my book. But yeah Sakura will have a role beyond this, I mean otherwise kishi could have saved this emotional impact stuff for later, but it still has its purpose you know like getting her to gradually move away from him could just be what this time of development is involved on. Really this could be seen as a setup for her maturing away from sasuke and potentially starting to move towards naruto. Still though, this battle with kagyua just began it will have more stuff in time and among that, there should be some role for sakura and kakashi beyond naruto and sasuke just simply fighting or awakening more of their powers against her.
