Tsundere often starts off bad cook. That's why anime did it. I remember sports anime had the protagonist afraid to eat her latest cook and he said "it's finally good!" Then, I think he found his sock in there and just kept it quiet. So yeah.

So Naruto will be with Sakura and no one else.

 

I really don't get how some fans don't get it.

After all this time pursuing Sakura, Naruto will not change. Naruto is a constant one.

This flashback panel of Minato saying to Obito : "Rin, you like her don't you ? Don't give up" is strongly reinforcing the fact that Naruto will not give up on Sakura. Minato could have said the exact same thing to his son.

 

Also, it's immediately followed with this " we will become hokage ". To me, this refers to the idea (very japanese) that a man should become a respected one / reliable one / worthy one before he gets with the girl he loves, because the idea was just put in there right after saying to not give up on Rin. And this also relates to this idea Naruto has about not confess until his promise to Sakura has been fulfilled.

 

I don't want to see Naruto with anyone else.

I don't want this beautiful person that Naruto is to ever give up on anything.

This would be a big mistake from Kishimoto to make Naruto ever give up on anything, and I don't think he's planning to do so.

If you're talking about the running joke about the scary mom theme he didn't say it directly but again that's a theme that's been pointed out by Naruto, twice. How everyone he knows has a scary mom (Kiba, Shikamaru, Hagoromo and himself)

My reaction to the 615 episode was very lukewarm. The NH moment seemed even less emotional than in the manga. The manga one was more fanservice-ish from Hinata's side, but Naruto's reaction was pretty much the same.

 

I bet NH fans expected us to panic again like most of us did when the chapter came out, but we're all pretty calm and indifferent over it now instead lol. We really did over-react at the release of the chapter. But when you take into how he gave her chakra and then everyone else soon afterwards into account, there's not really anything romantic about that scene. Even my older brother, who's just an anime watcher, said nothing about that scene was romantic and it was more of friendship moment; it was all about Neji, he said. Why glorify it into a pairing moment?

 

I'm always amazed at how NH fan's top argument for their ship is "Naruto held her hand" when he was giving her chakra. The chakra part just totally ruins their argument, but they still argue it as proof. I know I wouldn't argue for NS if a moment like that had an ulterior motive. It would just make you look stupid and selective IMO.

 

I also don't get how a hand-holding is suddenly more valuable proof instead of two NS hugs and how Naruto's feelings for Sakura were reaffirmed in 631. It just isn't logical at all.

Also Kishimoto interview reinforces much of "their parents desire that their children achieve their goals" only have to read closely to Kishimoto:

Personally I would like it better if him and Sakura got together before he becomes hokage. I liked that scene in the anime filler where Minato tells Kushina that he was chosen to become hokage.

At this point I'm not sure Naruto will even confess or if something else will happen that will lead into NS becoming canon. Him saying that he never confessed because he wasn't able to bring Sasuke back never really made sense to me ("I love you, now here is the man you like so much")also he was more or less saying why he won't confess, he never said he would after bringing Sasuke back and now that Sasuke is coming back on his own....kind of renders the promise completely pointless.
