I still can't believe Orochimaru is not a villain anymore. That really bothers me. A lot.

Orochimaru is snake version of hisouka.

Orochimaru still seems like the Narutoverse equivilent of Josef Mengele. The way the other characters treat him now is bizarre. Especially Naruto. I'm pressed to think of another character who personally caused as much lasting pain, death and misery as Orochimaru. Except maybe Obito "the coolest guy" Uchiha.

Well remember guys this was Hinata's and the Uchiha manga so Naruto was never really the main hero just a prize for Hinata to win.

It's funny how SP loves Hinata but it's said they don't like Sasuke, otherwise SasuHina would be the only logical thing to do since they're both the "true heroes" of the manga lol. :fu:  And then have NaruSaku too, AKA the not-hero x the not-heroine. Makes sense, no?  :zaru:

One of the new anime this season that just started, Charlotte, impales NH/SS thanks to Yumi Shirayanagi when the male MC, Yū Otosaka, is trying to keep a hold on her like a trophy when he ends up having to transfer schools (check out the wiki for a summary or something), so she chooses to have them go their separate ways rather than try to continue into any sort of relationship..

I'm going on record and stating that Kishimoto is the M.Night Shamalyn of manga.

He can have a good beginnjng and good middle, but his endings are just atrocious. Which is why the series becomes kitten strictly cause of the ending.

I'm going on record and stating that Kishimoto is the M.Night Shamalyn of manga.

He can have a good beginnjng and good middle, but his endings are just atrocious. Which is why the series becomes kitten strictly cause of the ending.

 

I kinda disagree with that, not only because of the ending, more like the last 1/3 of the manga

Danzo, Deidara, Sasori, Kakuzu, Hidan, Kisame.

Orochimaru used to be before his sudden 180 upon (re-)revival.

 

I didn't mention it, but I was mainly talking about the biggest ones, like Pain, Madara, Obito ahem, Kaguya and Orochimaru. 

 

For me, it is Orochimaru (as you said, he used to be one. A good one, but we know Kishi's ability to write a story)  or maybe Pain, but all the other ones were crappy.

Weird ... lately some anime and manga have been doing this lately ... its like they mocking naruto or kishi for the bad ending ... first fairy tail natsu said "I will bring gray back this i promise to you" to lucy, then boku no hero academia artist showing that image of narusaku already married and happy, and now this. If this is true to mock kishi because naruto ending. Then theres a lot of people in japan that REALLY dissapointed.

Oh. Still...

You know, it finally click to me. Kishi is truly sexist or just damn ignorant with women. Think about this one and it finally occur to me. Mei, Mizukage, is the only Kage that didn't have background or history. A got one with Killer Bee, and dealt with Minato. Tsunade was made before part 2 so don't count. Gaara got more out of it in the War Arc. That old man (forgot name) fought Madara a long time ago and pretty much saw many generations. Not to mention he affiliated with Akatsuki.

So what about Mei? She can't get a husband, she's the one that cried hopeless against Madara, and no background was given.

Again, either truly sexist or incredibly ignorant.

 

I say both. Both works.

I'm going to pull Hayao Miyazaki into this one, a lot of the anime writers who tend to be male, like to write these weird female characters, moe, super sexy and fantasy like, and I recall Miyazaki criticizing the otaku community for having unrealistic perceptions of human beings.
These writers sit on thir desk all day surrounded by people who don't explore & sit in their offices all day,
Hence this is why I think the majority of writers including Kashi decide to go down this route
Which is sad because he was totally going against it
