[NaruSaku fan in Kentucky]

l don't think there's any hope for Boruto. He's literally a Naruto clone without any of the things that made Naruto's character interesting. Salad is a bit different but she's doomed by virtue of being a girl written by Kishimoto.

I prefer Boruto. At least his character arc won't be completely focused on trying to bring someone back to the village for over half the story. That dragged on for way too long and ended up to be an incredible disappointment. I'm not saying he's a great character or anything, but he hasn't gotten a real chance to do much yet so we'll see.

Besides...how do you know Salad is not going to left the village and Burrito is going after her ?

I doubt it because he's the main character.  Can't have him kittening up his own parents' relationship, especially when NH is supposed to be the next MK.  Lol

NH never in a 1000 years can be MK. Hinata cannot reach the likes of Kushina and never can she be as awesome a mother and a person as Kushina

I think that Boruto and Sarada have the potential to be good characters and part 3 is kind of riding on those two for it to succeed. I think the first chapter helped soldify that, but Kishi could very easily, and likely, screw it all up.

 

However, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are pretty much permanently wrecked. I don't see how anything in part 3 can possibly change that.

 

I feel the same way, but then again the original characters also had the same thing, and not to be negative but they did get screwed over in the end. The same thing could happen to Boruto and Sarada and since it's Kishi we're talking about here it not too much of a stretch. Although I will say there little platonic moment in the chapter was interesting. I mean she did have that pseudo- tsundere  nature to her when it came to her conversation with Boruto. I will say that there conversation is quite nice to say the least she's not like "Screw you." similar to how her supposed mother was towards Naruto. So a bit of fresh air  I guess, but i could be wrong with the next chapter of course, and keep in mind some of my predictions haven't come to pass. Although a friend of mine from work told me "Kishi doesn't  make things for coincidence." and he truly beleive Sarada is Karin's daughter. 

 

If that's the case I can see Karin feeling overwhelmed about it like just taking everything in and this is how Boruto and Sarada start bonding with one another.  Also who the hell is the Toneri looking kid in the beginning of the chapter cause he never showed up in chapter 700 whatsoever. Also like I said before compared to Sakura, Sarada was a better introduced character.

So much for Sasuke being an "anti-hero", he's not even there for his own kid.  What a sh*tty protagonist.  Same goes for Narugay.

True. But I don't really have any reason to hate him outside of being very similar to Naruto. We'll see what happens.

 

Like I said I'm not expecting it to be great, and Kishi will likely screw this up, but it should be possible to make do with Boruto and Sarada where we're at now.

Nothing good will come from these new characters unless Kishi's learned to write a decent story finally. What makes a character good is a good story that they're involved in. Not writing a story to try to fit to a certain character. When you do the latter, you get what Naruto became.

You're right, we are over hyping her. But it's just that it's such a coincidence that the birth child of Sasusaku actually questions Sasusaku herself. If anything, that's a slap in the face from Kishimoto to SS fans. And she's also showed many dimensions already with her character. But I still agree with you, somehow, someway, she's going to be ruined. Just wait.

I just wish that Kishi would follow through with this one and make Salad, Karin's daughter (which seems very unlikely). Well, if he doesn't and he probably won't, there are several he's going to need to explain. 

 

i) Why Salad looks like Karin

ii) Why Sasuke abandoned the both of them

iii) If Sasuke and Sakura are married and if not, why? In a SJ series, have they ever had a couple have a kid out of wedlock?

iv) What's up with Sakura's OG photo shopping?

 

Knowing Kishi, he'll probably just ignore the plot holes anyways.

Yeah I totally agree. Well, he has a few months to screw this up before the movie in August. So we'll be finding out if he does very soon.

Sarada looks hot for a young girl lol and Boruto is just a Naruto clone, so there's nothing really interesting about him. This series is ruined forever mainly because of NH, it's truly unacceptable.

I still can't get used to how so many talk about a character as if they're real. Like what Sarada said was something she herself came up with. I can't differentiate like that. Everything I read I know comes from one place, the author. He's successfully made people care about another character. I used to say he wasn't very good at writing. I'm starting to rethink that with all the interest he's just drummed up. Now I think he might actually know how to write in certain aspects. He just has terrible ideas and poor execution.
