I wouldn't like it if Sakura realizes her feelings for Naruto with his death, but it has unfortunately been foreshadowed that it might happen. ![]()

Asuming that Kishi changed the development Sasuke vs Naruto, he could possible change the end, Naruto dying the fans will not like that, but think it twice if Naruto dies would be the last hit for the shinobi world is time to change, besides no more loneliness for the blonde in heaven with his family. Even he does not become Hokage, still Naruto will achieve peace.

I read your post wrong. I doesn't sound strange as in grammar mistakes, but it sounds like something one would say in the old days.
So what did VIZ say?
In my country, it said "Don't fall for the first that comes your way, find someone like me"
I don't really see how this translation is biased. The way I see it, Hinata is the first girl to come his way romance wise. Before you freak, let me explain. She is the first person to actually have romantic feelings for him. Sakura isn't really the first to think of him in a romantic sense, and I see it as Naruto not falling for the first person that shows feelings for him and that he should find someone like his mother A.K.A Sakura.

It is biased simply because this is not what Kishimoto wrote, it's not in his script.
I liked the original script better.
Of course he shouldn't fall for a weird one, but it would make no sense to ditch a girl just because she's the first that likes you.

the problem is those official translators are paid for doing well their jobs. I wonder they did this for making all this game of couples more uncertain and give an assist to NH fandom since I'm sure that they know that NH fandom is more popular in western side than in Japan.
I have heard that they do, do this in fact. Had a discussion on this forum with someone who reads the viz translations more and they described as the company trying to keeping the romance side of the manga more ambiguous and make the outcome less certain. Helps keep the sales up.

So I saw a theory bouncing around on tumblr that perhaps one of the reasons Sakura couldn't kill Sasuke was because she couldn't bear the thought of Naruto hating her forever - however, I don't think we have any evidence to support this theory, do we? If we do, then it'd be great if you could share it :)
Nice thought, but it would make no sense. She got flashbacks of 12 year old Sasuke, the boy is having a hard time letting him go.

Well... to me that seems so obvious... otherwise I wouldn't explain a such kinda translation...

It's the problem of the translation being very off from the words of the original ^^
Ahh, yeah I understand where your coming from now. I agree with that being irritating, I blame language and cultural differences. But I do not see it being that bad. If NaruHina happens, than I may see it as a twisting of words, but the way it is translated now makes the outcome just seem less certain especially if NaruSaku happens.

I just don't like it, but it depends on how Kishi executes it.

Well it wouldn't be bad at all if she knows that Sasuke is not the Sasuke she loved anymore. She would fully realize what she lost once loosing it kind of thing, FULLY being a key word

Question, sorry if this is the wrong place. Does anybody think that Viz will stop dubbing Naruto when NS happens because of the possibility of losing the NH fanbase. Or do think there will be enough NS and neutral fans to allow them to continue. I want to buy the series if NS becomes canon. I prefer the dubbed to the subbed as well. I apologize again for asking but I'm just curious in case this has happened with another manga before.
you mean anime? If yes then don't worry... Because the anime will reach at that point when the manga will be already finished LOL ![]()

It just seems so ...cliche'. I understand the whole " you don't know what you have until it's gone" thing, but it's just so dramatic.
In my ideal situation, Sakura would have Sasuke within arms reach, and realize that its not really what she wants anymore. No, not because Sauke turned her away, but she just doesn't feel the way she always expected to when they finally got him back. After seeing that she no longer is confused about her feelings for both boys, she can start to focus ( in moderation ) on expressing her growing feelings for Naruto.

If they are the official translators and get paid for their services, I think they are probably bound by a contract to translate all of the series. No matter what. Even commenting in a way that shows bias/sympathy for one side of the fandom would only hurt their reputations.

Cliche, that was the word I was looking for. And it would look forced, like it has to be shoved in her face before she finds out what she wants.
It has happened so many times, and we already have the OVA. I want something that will blow my mind.
I want her to look at 'good' Sasuke and realize he's not the man she thought he was, she's not the man that will make her happy. Then I want her to look at Naruto and think
.

That would be nice but
1) this would imply Sasuke goes OOC and asks Sakura out/confesses love for her?
2) Sakura would regress to part 1 somehow to some measure if Sasule is within arms reach so to speak
