They relevancy to the story died with him. Which already long time ago.
They are now just a X-ray binocular clan whose sole purpose to tell what the other can't see.

You know something? I would have been perfectly content with Sakura piledriving Hinata into the ground in that scene just to get her off that selfish high horse and put her in her place. 

 

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto's authority and power scared them into not speaking out against one of their main clan members leaving the compound permanently. What are they going to do? Naruto is a renowned figurehead of Konoha with the power of Rikudou and his engagement isn't exactly a private affair, considering how the reigning Hokage wasted public resources on purchasing wedding gifts for them. No one is going to sympathise with Hiashi and his ilk in keeping Hinata from getting her prize on the basis of her choosing not to be branded with a slavish marking that damages her brain cells if she acts up. Naruto is liable to get Kakashi to use his authority as Hokage to force them to remove the marking, if he doesn't break down the doors himself in a fit of rage, that is.  

 

Yeah, when one considers the retconned Naruto, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he did something his previous, real, self would never have considered doing, and that's using power/authority to bully and intimidate others to get his (or Hinata's) way, which would make him no different than Madara was, like when Madara tried to force Mu and Onoki to have their forces become loyal underlings of Konoha.

Also, the Hyuga Clan as a whole no longer matters. Only "Byakugan Princess" Hinata does. The rest can just go the way of the Senju for all Kishi cares.

There may or may not be a flashback with a SasuSaku kiss scene in chapter 8.   

 

The only reason I absolutely detest that ship is because it is presented as Sakura needing Sasuke to love her so she feels good about herself with Kakashi telling Sasuke he's obliged to love her, and if he cannot love her then he cannot be a good person.  Kishi pushes the idea that for Sasuke to be on the "GOOD" side, he has to love Sakura despite having no apparent interest in her and he should be shamed for not loving her.

 

I just don't get it.  

 

I know Kishi wants people to like how things turned out, but SasuSaku is the absolute worst couple I have ever read in fiction since Claire and Ron (White Oleander novel) and Nick and Helena (Boxing Helena movie).

And it practically conclude neji conflict before his fight with kidoumaru thus making him irrelevant for majority of part 2.
And what make hyuga revelant in this story is because of neji.

Well, I have no idea how to call kishi writing skill

Hyuga subplot aka main vs branch family is neji subplot.

That's what happen when you make a pairing have non existence to negative relationship. Oh and it's very oneside.

Ss fan expect it will work like shoujo manga where dark silent trouble handsome bad boy sage and heal by an ordinary girl. That doesn't happen in naruto.
Sasuke doesn't has romantic feeling to sakura, until chapter 699, unlike shoujo dark silent handsome bad boy.

I think it that doesn't matter anymore, whats done is done, SS is cannon. BUT what important now is solving or developing the already cannon lack development pairing, up until now the author done nothing to give the cannon pairing POSITIVE development. This gaiden like every other book should give positive moral to the reader, but so far there is none. Like it or not Sasuke MUST take responsibilities to the girl he kittened either sakura or karin and his daughter sarada. If not then the reader will take it as "OH so you can kitten a girl make her pregnant and then abandon them for 10 years", so far nothing but negative moral came out from this gaiden, imagine if underage kids read this, they gonna think its okay to do what sasuke do right now.

 

This manga has been damage beyond repair, but at least i think can reduce the damage a little if they solve what i said above. But ofcourse if they do that, it will force sasuke to become occ. Well i think at this point whatever path kishi and SP choose its just going to add more oil to the fire.
