You know that the movie score on yahoo has sunk to 3.19? That was 3.26 around 15min ago

Nice! I'm curious though, what the professional critics are gonna say about the film? I mean they'll take it as a stand alone film won't they?

My personal favorite: "Naruto: Die letzte Scheisse" meaning "Naruto: The Last kitten

I must shamefully admitt that I myself never came to that conclusion but a friend of mine did who doesn't watch Naruto at all xD I just ranted angrily about it and then she said "Ich glauber der FIlm ist dann wohl das Letzte! *Badum Psch*" My stomach hurt from all that laughter xD Though "DIe letzte Scheiße" isn't bad as well.

To be truthful, while it is probably not the popular opinion, I think he'll still have a career even if he doesn't do anything else. Just not one where any of us are involved. Probably won't be nearly as big as Naruto was, but I think he'll still be able to manage.

 

I agree. People are now saying that they'd never read any of his works again but if he does have a new series, they would read it out of curiosity. If the series turn out good, people might actually follow it even though he ruined Naruto. He'll also gain a new fanbase. They'd just have to hope that he doesn't disappoint again but who knows what he would do. *shrugs* The series won't be as popular as Naruto though, that's a fact.

Ratings can be altered. Its not an accurate representation. What was the second day collection? That's the only thing that the movie production cares about.

That would make the movie be actually be better than if they have to take the manga into account...but i don't know how they're doing reviews to manga work...

I know Japanese fans are majorly bashing Naruto and Hinata right now because of this movie but I hope they realize soon that their hate should solely focus on "the last" versions of Naruto and Hinata and not the manga versions of their characters (1-698, 699 if you feel chummy) because those are the characters they grew to love and not the shi**y ass movie of them!!!

When chapters 699-700 came out most of everyone here was bashing on Sakura's character for the first few hours and then cooled down to realize it was kishi's kitten writing for the ending that did that to her. So hopefully the JP fandom will realize that too and not Hate on THE REAL NARUTO we all know and love because of THE LAST NARUTO!!!!

It is "die letzte scheisse", it really is. This movie makes use of generic tvtropes from the shoujo genre and it is simply disappoingting how unoriginal this movie is.

It might be touching, yes, and the music has a wounderful soundtrack, but this does not change the fact that many don't wanna see this kitten. I send my little brother a summary of the movie, and I can't wait what ideas he has towards it.

The Last is just like the SIms 4. It's great as a movie or game on it's own, but they both fail as a continuation of a series. And we know that Sims 4 people had to change some things because the fans were outraged, like adding pools and ghost back as a free update to calm the fans (though they still haven't done anything against the no toddler stuff)

What i think their greatest mistake of the producer of "the Last" is: They expected this movie to be the greatest of all. Never in my whole time as a Naruto fan have I seen such advertisment of a movie. NEVER. Normally we would get some information and advertisment, but not to the extend that we saw this month. They are so confident in it that they even pro announcent a new movie about Bolt although they didn't even know if this movie would be a sucess for sure. I don't want to imagine how much money they spent for this crap movie, but I'm sure that it will bite their asses. 
The last gets negative critic from the most people who wathced it right now. By all means, even if they sold a lot on the opening day, that doesn't mean that it will continue. Words are after all the most powerfull advertisment there is. And if the majority says it's kitten, they have a problem. That's why they let Kishimoto say those stupid interviews. They want to lure NS fans as well, so they make something like that poster to give them hope.

 

They are doomed to fall. And I don't have any pity for that. They deserved it.

The last chapter is hilarious though. The guy that confessed to Yuki is funny. Without his glasses. And he's an ikemen compared to Toru. XD

But Miyamura-kun is still the winner.

Yeah, that guy is some kind of Miyamura clone, lol. But no one can top Izumi-kun!

 

Toru/Yuki kinda reminds me of NaruSaku (probably due to Yuki having a similar design as Sakura) and it breaks my heart.

Look what you've done Kishi. You have essentially made Sakura a side character and turned Naruto into a giant kitten. 

 

One thing I do find kind of funny is how Sakura haters will now have to eat their words. I mean, if they accept 699 and 700 as canon, then they'll also have to accept The Last as canon and that movie tells us that Sakura was right when she said that Naruto was only trying to mess with her love life and that he never really cared for or understood her. Nope, it was all just to get in her pants.

Kishi's contradicting interviews, along with how terrible he made Naruto and Sakura, kinda makes intern that he was forced to do this and that he isn't really happy about it. I'll admit, it hurts to see Naruto (the character) being crushed by everyone and their mothers, when the manga clearly shows that Kishi's retcon about his loving Sakura is kitten. It's one if the reasons I cant accept what they've done. Naruto's love to Sakura in the manga is the only real love that existed, and they burned it to the ground and spit on it in order to make Hinata the main character. It's worse when now they say that Sakura loved him back, because now they're mocking the fanbase. It's truly repulsive.
