he's a good friend, (helping goku get better from the heart disease, helping krillen get 18, and encouraging their daughter maron not to worry about krillen in the tournement)

his rivalry with tien is respectful not to mention cool plus the concept of tiencha

his attacks were unique (a move involving wolves, his spirit ball).

he was informative on a couple of fighters in tournaments,

i loved his saiyan-frieza saga design where he had long wild hair and scars,

I liked him better than goku cause he looked cooler, he wasn't as dumb and was even street smart.

 

i believe if toriyama cared enough about his other characters he'd give them moments to shine. heck even i could think of a couple of new moves for yamyams.

Yamcha definitely got it worse out of all the humans. Krillin ans Tien got more moments to shine such as cutting of Frieza's tail and pinning down semi perfect cell

i think yamcha could have continued training in the gravity chamber (even though it was filler) he just had to start smaller so he could work his way up. its like working out on machines, you do NOT put on more weight than you can handle on your first try.

Isn't they compare hinata to chichi because goku ended up marrying her instead of bulma, because they think its the same.

 

I don't understand why sakura receive soo much hate from western fans, is it because the comedic relief sakura always hitting naruto? and they see it as an abusive not as comedic point of view?

 

Then i don't understand why they do not see Tom and Jerry as an abusive cartoon, isn't that cartoon made in come out from the west?. Jerry always use stick, hammer, even sharp tools like knife, axe, sword and even GUN to attack Tom and yet they think its different than naruto relationships with sakura. It's really weird the amount of bias of western fans its insanely ....

A part of me thinks that Hinata's over glorification in the anime attracted the people who are fans of that character trope. You know the shy, submissive types.

 

Also, I think they use Naruto as a self-insert as a "way to be with Hinata" and they saw Sakura as a threat to that and wanted her out of the way. That's why they hated her, and in fact I know that's the case for some people because they actually seemed to like Sakura more in the Last because she was playing matchmaker for Naruto and Hinata.

 

It's pretty disgusting when you think about it.

Disgusting indeed, its like seeing rotting food with alot of maggot and fly around it.

 

Just for personal note i ask my husband which one will he choose hinata or sakura. We both fans of naruto, and he said "Ofcourse sakura" i ask why what is the reason? he said "First i believe love cannot happen instantly, love is build you must spend alot of time with that person and second there is no fun or challenge if you go with submissive girl but with sakura you its hard but i like it i feel challenge its like taming a wild animal, hinata is too perfect, a girlfriend like her will make your neighboor or other man jealous and theres a chance she will get assault or rape you know shes not the type that can protect herself because she is too submissive she can easly cheat on you. But not sakura you know she is violent BUT she can be very tender and soft to the man she really care, so anyone will think twice before do bad things to her."

Contrary to popular belief, Yamcha is not so ineffectual. He served as an integral ally during the Pilaf arc and was one of the first notable antagonists to challenge Goku in battle. Granted, his accomplishments afterwards like defeating the Invisible Man and returning Goku home so he could take the medicine are few and far between, but so are Sakura's. 

 

If Sakura is equated to Yamcha then what does that make Hinata? Chiaotzu? 

 

I'd say Chiaotzu at least. Though I also saw a lot of Chi Chi in Sakura. :)
