This whole setup reminds me of the padded out filler from #166 of Shippuden. It was unnecessary, immoderate in its length and quality, and disloyal to the manga. Now it appears that Pierrot is preparing to retread those tender beginnings in Naruto and Hinata's relationship that they so graciously forced onto Kishi's character.

Please do not tell me that any references to these filler scenes will henceforth brand them as relevant to the manga.

I just wanna point out that each character portrait has "character" next to it. Since this is Jap I'm not too sure, but the characters in Chinese mean:
Hinata: Love    Sakura: Life/fate    Shika: Will/Ideal  Sai: (i'm not sure, can't quite make it out) Kakashi： Endure   Sasuke: Road/Path

I wonder what's going on here... why is naruto so pissed? Hinata looks so upset. I was wondering what she could have done to piss him off, but maybe he thinks she's like the rest of the people who brush him off? nahh, but I'm very curious. or he's just venting about how everyone hates him..

 

Makes me wonder where she's been, then, during all those years of loneliness pre-Team 7. Not hating on her- I actually like her- but still...

 

 

Hinata's says 'love' lol, Shikamaru's says 'will,' Kakashi's says 'shinobi,' Sakura's says 'life' (though it can also mean fate/destiny), I can't read Sai's D:, Sasuke's says 'path.' Before each of those words it says something like 'spinning into the new era.'
 

 

So, Sakura is Naruto's destiny?    (No, but Kishi had better make it happen.  )

 

But think about it! The red string of fate? The scarf? It could all tie back to Sakura in the end, so my theory about the scarf and Sakura may not be off!

Sakura's word is fate/destiny. I'm gonna take that far over "love" especially from Hinata of all people any day. BC Hinata "love" is nothing new, but the thing is it's one-sided.

It's already enough that we're forced to tolerate the Hinata centralised storyline. Acknowledging that distorted interpretation of Kishi's manga would be Pierrot just rubbing salt into the wounds.

Of course this movie would have some of the highest quality artwork and animation that we have seen yet. Pierrot trades the serial chapters for the opportunity to see their favourite character in HD. How disgusting...
