The way he squeezed her hand kinda bothered me tbh, but whatever..

Yeah me too, but whatever, the rest of the scene was so bland and emotionless, that it's not that bad. 

 

If you notice he did that because he was charging himself up this is evident because at very next minute he lifts his other arm and forms a fist really there was nothing romantic in here from Naruto's side he didn't even bother to look at her but he went straight to charging himself up and Hinata , in the manga after this moment he also implies this so no worries really lol . 

I prefer to not use an excuse, to me, he squeezed her hand, but as I said, who cares, he squeezed her hand, so what? It was a sign of affection during this sad event that is Neji's death. Because he has to get over his death, and Hinata helped him. 

 

Yeah, but I think hand holding is something special in Japan :/ I might be mistaken I dunno.

 

Anyways, funny thing is I always waited for this part to be animated back when I was a NH fan but everything has changed now since I don't ship NH anymore.   I started watching and reading Naruto only last year actually lol

Indeed, japanese audience was disturbed by the handholding, japanese don't touche each other like american are always hugging each other. Handholding is significant but you know what....... CPR is way more significant, it's a kiss for them because their lips touched each other. NH handholding was disturbing for japanese fans, but CPR made them call NS canon. I saw the comments, 631 and 663 are confirming NS to be the end game to them. They were even calling the CPR "deep kisu" which made us have a good laugh on this site, I remember.

Of course, but scocially speaking, it's not like american who hug eah other and shake hand to say hello, or like french people who kiss each other on the cheek to say hello. It's very rude to touch someone, especially when you're not very familiar with this person. I assure you, japaneses don't touch each other. It's not polite.

Episode 26 quality? Sorry, I don't really watch the anime anymore.

 

Same here. The only currently running anime that I follow is Fairy Tail, since both are mostly synchronized. Naruto Shippuden just make me deflated for a long time already, it feels like SP mocked the actual storyline. But sometimes I do watch it, just to have a good laugh on certain unnecessary added plot.

I wonder why Kishi choose Hinata to shine out of all the other girls. And this is not the first time. I don't really mind it since I like Hinata but she gets a lot of focus for a side kick character. Hinata is fully developed imo, It's kinda unfair. Ino, Tenten, Karin needs some love too   I think Kishi knows that she's popular and wanted to take advantage of her.

1. She's the most popular right next to Sakura
2. Her inspiring Naruto was in direct connection with him inspiring her during the war which was directly connected to her saving his life during the Pain fight

A few more additional reasons that I come up:

 

1) She was of the same age/group of friends with Naruto.

2) Same clan, and well aware of the clan double standard between main & branch. Meaning they are, in a way, understands each others (Neji-Hinata).

3) If we take Tenten or Lee, I don't see the logic to let them be the one here, actually. Same to the others.

4) One of the Hyuuga that defending him. I can't imagine Hiashi to say something to Naruto and outshine himself. Nope, can't

The examples you've given are very decent. Look further, there are Mebuki x Sakura, Kushina x Naruto, Itachi x Sasuke everywhere.

You hate MinatoxSakura? I always thought it was like a more smooth/intelligent Naruto paired with Sakura, plus Sakura and Kushina are similar. I just think people like to experiment and get curious about other ships. I mean, I love Sakura and her paired with Naruto is my canon, but I actually rarely read fanfics about them, but instead on crack pairings. People just pair people up together, cause they look good together or they like both characters a lot.

 

Besides, I'll take Sakura paired with those you listened any day over SasuSaku. Half the time I filter out his name, cause I just can't stand to see him paired with Sakura and don't want to waste my time rooting through a dozen SS fics to get to other pairings.

 

However, like Ramen said, there are worse pairings. I believe there's a Minatox Fetus Sasuke? Just imagining it sends shivers down my spine.

He's Naruto's father for Crying out loud. That is just plain creepy, Just because she is similar to Kushina, You pair Sakura up with Minato ??

There are somethings one must never do. One of those is pair the Hero's love interest with his father just for fun.

Eh, it doesn't bother me. It's more like, I avoid pairings that freak me out. Yeah everyone's taste is different, I mean NaruSasu has been big, since episode three, then theirs Uchiha incest, and Uzumaki incest. It's all about preferences, I don't agree with every ship out there, but I'm not about to judge others for their ships.

 

As to your question about the MS pairing, I actually like it. Some fanfics make it interesting and fun to read. It's not like fanfics are canon, just people's imagination and sometimes you gotta step back and realize, these are anime characters. It's not real. However, like I said, it depends on the person.
