Well, lets look at the bright side. Taka escaped from this travesty and character destruction because in order for this to work, they had to be erased from existance or do as if they didnt exist.
If I ever buy something Naruto related again, it would be a Suigetsu figurine but chances for that to happen depend on the sasuke's spinoff success.

 

My guess is that Kishimoto got pressured into a deal or that they proceeded with this at his back so that's why the kaguya and all that crap felt rushed and made everyone miserable at chapter 700. Maybe he doesnt like it but he is forced to act this way due to contract obligations and because of movie marketing golden rule "you have to sell the movie" this is my with wishful thinking.

I am definitely writting a japanese letter to him, will send him some of my water color artworks as a farawell gift. He gave me a lot of things to enjoy but this is not the kind of enjoyment that I was looking for. His replies and interviews are just hilarious at how ridiculous they are, that's why I belive he is just doing wathever due to contract obligations.

And they failed pretty hard me think. If things were done properly and the ending was satisfying then they would get fan support for a third part but the ending is such a horrible mess and a large part of the Naruto fandom has been disappointed, that’s not a good premise to begin a new story.

No, what I mean is the meaning of that post, I don't get it ^^;

He is basically saying there was romantic interest from both sides but everything has been cleared up in the scene when Sakura tells Naruto that he loved her because of his rivalry with Sasuke that’s when they realize they aren't romantically interested in each other even tough it doesn’t make sense in context, nothing new more contradictions and nonsense.
