Unlike ss, nh doesn't have negative development like ss and it's popular pairing.

It's a kitten pairing. Both of them both are awful, NH is only popular cause of hinata and not naruto they don't care about naruto and what he wants to them it's all about hinata.

I wouldn't say that the PAIRING is popular. HINATA is popular because she was the only girl that had a crush on Naruto as kids when Almost everyone else everyone treated him cruelly and Sakura, the target of his affections thought of him as an annoyance and did not understand him, exemplified when she said how Naruto had it easy being an orphan. then Hinata grew her her hair out and grew like what(?) 5+ cup sizes(?) and then was treated like sex object, and then her hierophants  declared her a "goddess" and must have Naruto as their offering of worship to her. You don't actually hear too often on WHY she and Naruto make a good couple do you? You just hear "Hinata deserves Naruto, she always loved him" 
 
Plus, I suppose a lot of westerners and otaku's in Japan probably have some sort of PTSD of how they friend zoned and rejected by their crushes and want to see it succeed vicariously with fictional characters. Well Hinata's biggest fappers on YouTube admit it at least, like sawyer7mage and forneverworld

That would not surprise me at all about swayermage and for never. Image if naruto was to ino or temari like he was with sakura they'd probably say the same thing.

I believe that some are still blind because to them it is normal to have rough patches like that in a marriage and everything will be fine at the end. I wouldn't be surprise if that's how the story goes.

Yeah, but it never really was depicted in a positive light in the manga either. Granted, Hinata only appears in a couple dozen pages throughout the entire manga but it was never in a good way.

 

1. When she's first introduced she puts Team 7 in danger of failing by offering to let Naruto cheat off of her paper, which also indicates she doesn't understand Naruto as well as she thinks she does judging by how he wouldn't put his team at risk.
2. During the third part of the exam, she acts as though Naruto couldn't win against Kiba.
3. We never see much of a bond between her team. During the Chunin exams, Hinata goes to give the ointment to Naruto first
4. She seems to take strength from Naruto's suffering, using it as a means to motivate herself. She knew all that time how lonely he was, but did nothing while trying to idolize him. This is treated as a major bond later on.
5. Puts all of Konoha at risk during Pein's attack. Kishi even described her actions as suicidal in a databook.
6. Says to herself she will stop chasing after Naruto during the War arc. The Last still has her chasing after him a few years later, with them never interacting during the intervening time and her getting jealous of him being with other girls (and having a scarf)
7. Throw in how during the Boruto movie she couldn't move to save her daughter, but was willing to leave her kids to save Naruto.

She's a parasite, pure and simple, but sadly they ended up rewarding her for this behavior. It sends a bad message. Not to mention to do this we got character assassinations, asspulls, characters dying to play cupid, retcons and the like to try and give Hinata her happy ending. Because remember, Sakura would have been a cruel woman to take Naruto from Hinata and Kishi would have felt bad.

Sakura Haruno would ALSO BE  a TERRIBLE WOMAN for abondonning her TRUE LOVE FOR SASUKE "HOTTER THAT THE SUN, AND COOLER AND MORE MYSTERIOUS THAN THE MOON" UCHIHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   And forget all the times he was murderous and vengeful!!! He is just a tsundere unable to express his love for his former best friend, mentor, village, and future wife!!!!!

And we can't forget about how JP reacted to The Last, with Hinata becoming a target of major criticism over how she was more focused on knitting a scarf for Naruto-kun than the fact her sister is in danger. This was SP's big chance to make Hinata a central character, even releasing promo's with Sakura talking about how she's not the heroine of the series anymore (which also irritated the fanbase), and they messed it up. Throw in how Naruto ended up disgusting the audience and how people hoped, they freaking hoped, the ending would all be a dream with The Last being the real final battle of the manga.

People in Japan were wanting an Naruto movie but what they got was a Hinata shoujo so of course people would be upset. They were lied to help support a retcon movie that went against the manga.

IIRC, NaruSaku was the majority within the Japanese fandom and it was (unfortunately)followed by SasuSaku in terms of prominence; NaruHina was in the minority.

First cousins marriages are allowed in Japan especially in a case like NejiXHinata. So they figured that was the pairing Hinata was going to end up in. People like in the states thought it might be nice if she ended up with Naruto, but Sakura was the heroine, and only the otaku were fanatical about her enough to excuse the last and beyond.

If i was there in the theater during the first premier of the last , i will buy a lot of food as much as theater allow me to carry in , and then i will throw all those food and my laptop full of 416 Naruto anime episode into the big screen either when Sakura said to Naruto his love for her is just rivalry with Sasuke or when Hinata put ointment to Narutos back and then i will shout as loud as i can "BOOOOOOOO!!!!" and then i leave the theater , i don't care if i get arrested by police.

You have to be delusional to believe anyone other than Sakura is the heroine.

They have to be delusional unless Kishi didn't know how to write a heroine because the heroine usually gets at least the second amount of screen time behind the main hero and Hinata maybe got a total of maybe two chapters of screen time in the manga. Real believable. I know I am exaggerating there but still she is so irrevelant to the main plot that she barely qualifies for 4th best female ninja behind even Ino and Temari

Okay. I’ve been meaning to write more posts explaining the theory my fiancée and I have. It’s basically being confirmed.

Boruto’s world is just the illusion. Part of the illusion is that Naruto and them broke the illusion at the end of the Great War. None of this is real. Sasuke’s mission is him trying to break the damn thing. And yeah, he can only do it because he’s the only one with a Sharingan. So he’s the only one who can see through it. … this also makes sense why he’s literally the only person acting normally.

Sarada has hers sharingan now, but I’m questioning that too because she uses it more like the byakugan. I can touch on that stuff in other posts.

The hints have been subtle til now. Suddenly there’s more white zetu’s???? And people in cacoons?

Ive got SO much evidence that this world isn’t real, and not enough time to formally write it all out. Instead, here I am spewing things again!

The most damning piece of evidence so far came in the last Boruto episode. Naruto said that it’s been 10 years since the Great War. It was said again… by someone in the new team 7. I think Sarada? Whatever. That it’s been almost 10 years. Ummmmm no it has not.

How old are they? 10? 12? I thought they were 12. They were not two years old when the Great War happened. They just weren’t. No one was pregnant with these kids then either. They’d have to be 9 at the very very oldest for this math to make sense. And that’s if they all went and procreated the moment the war ended.

Temari and Shikamaru didn’t even get together until Naruto’s wedding so… we know that didn’t happen.

Strange how none of them seem to realize this gaping error in their lives, even as they say it. But then there are many, many things that are bass ackwards in the world of Boruto.

This is the worst plot hole ever, or this world is an illusion.

And there is so much evidence for the latter.

 

I just highlight some that currently happen in the anime base on what this person said. So it looks like there is more white zetsu appearing and there's big white cocoon like when they were trapped in IT during the war arc. This person speak about his theory that he think this is not real and it's some kind of illusing/genjutsu , Sasuke traveling over the world to find a way to break it hes the only one acting normal because he knows the truth and because he has sharingan. I didn't read all of it but it's nice , been a long time since i heard someone talk about possibility of boruto is just Infinite Tsukuyomi theory.
