He shouldn't have really changed IMO, Naruto's manga art used to be refreshing, then it suddenly got all dirt , disfigured and strange

I think the peak of his art happen from search for tsunade arc to (idk) immortal arc(?).
Kishi want to change style to become more realistic style in the interview.
But I forget when it start to change.
He did many art error in war arc. He doesn't even fix it in tankobon version.

He said that in an interview from early part 2.

I liked his art during the war arc, it was still really good IMO, just different from how it was in the beginning (obviously). Though yeah, he made a lot of mistakes and didn't even bother to fix them during the war. His art's always been good, but around 600 it seemed he stopped trying so hard, got lazy and sloppy.

And yes, that Sakura eye from the hospital... So good. Sometimes his art is so good (that scene being one of those times). And yeah it's drawn with pencil.

easy choice right there. Sexy time with the doll. Okay being serious here Hinata is not strong enough or interesting to be picked. She would be lucky with Kiba. Also Boruto is so bland and a washed down version of Naruto when he was a kid. Only thing different is that his childhood wasn't craplease even though Naruto is a deadbeat father. I bet Naruto still regrets being Hinata and the ending. He is a broken shell now.

There are some manga where the art is  dirty but it still works because of the atmosphere surrounding the story and the style of the author itself, like TG, the art over there is kinda dirty but it works wonderfully

I think, he said he want to draw something more realistic.
Then his draw become rougher.

I will say the cleaner one is better, but that just my personal taste.

Agree, when he draw that scene, wow it so good.
