Some childrens walk around the housing or neighbor housing, if it's not far, while bringing torch and singing certain something. I don't know what those called. There are adults who guide them too, protect them, and watch the childrens (mostly the torch
) . Anyway, it's usually done in the night after 6 PM before the big day. Some who don't go, which actually most adults, prepare some cookies or any snack for tomorrow. Tomorrow, the following day, there will be many guests who visit the elders in the housing. Of course, the host will serve snacks or cookies or candies that have been prepared the night before. The elders or anyone who has visited usually give a little money to the childrens who come to their house.
I used to get a lot
Nah. Popi is fine.
What's that celebration called ?

To provide special prayers for the deceased. Especially those who died young and tragic. There is no special food required to be eaten though.
We also have Binatbatan Festival in here which is being held this first week of May. We have costume parade, street dancing, trade fairs, carabao painting contests, kalesa parade and beerfest. The food is mostly local cuisine such as bagnet, longganisa, empanada and kornik.
During the third week of January, we celebrate the Feast of St. Paul or the Longganisa Festival. There is also a street dancing and carnival. There is also a boodle fight.
In the first week of February until the third week, we have the Kannawidan Festival. Just a fair of the different local products of all the provinces in Luzon. There are showcases of ethnic tribes' culture including their dances and songs. A lot of foods are being feasted which came from the different delicacies of the provinces.
We also have the Panagbenga Festival or the Flower Festival, the Strawberry Festival and the Pamulinawen festival
!!!!
Can you explain me what is boodle fight? and what is kalesa and kornik? 0:
