[NaruSaku fan in Kentucky]

I wonder if someone did the meme where Squidward was watching Naruto the last and when it shows the NH Patrick switches the channel saying "I hate this channel."

A new thought crossed my mind a while back, after I think reading something related on tumblr. One of the worst things about NH and SS is the disgusting double standard they present. Consider one thing:

 

What would the fandom say about SS and NH if everything about the dynamics of both pairings were kept the same, except that Hinata and Sakura were men, and Sasuke and Naruto were girls? If it were a man hiding behind trees and a man that was on his knees in 693, and if Kakashi was speaking on behalf of a male Sakura in 693. Hinata and Sakura's behavior are deemed acceptable because they're women, if they were men, it would be viewed as disgusting.

I am getting hate mail already claiming that Naruto and Sakura where just friends and Soul x Maka was a friendship pairing. I just told him that his reading comprehension is non existent and typed up a long reply to his comment.
Here's my long comment. I just thrashed him or her with logic.
 

Seee this is a reason why I stick to watching Doctor who now I still watch anime but after Naruto and SP well I can't trust much new anime anymore. I mean I know that we can always trust the Doctor as he won't pull a Naruto, true each new doctor does change and he may get darker but deep down he is still the same man that we all love and trust the same man with his blue box that will save us stupid apes when we are in danger.

 

Hell just throw the Doctor in Naruto and boom Sasuke will no longer be there as the Doctor has a much daker past and well he is not a kitten to woman,

On second thought, 

I think it's acceptable to show weakness and there's no double standards for that, 

Because if it instead was Sasuke on his knees in 693, it wouldn't be hated but admired.

Not really, because it would have sent out the notion that Sakura would have had to love Sasuke, just because he loved her, and Kakashi's speech would have made it even worse. The SS/NH fandom reject NS because they follow that line of thought, but excuse Hinata and Sakura of it because they're women, and their feelings are the ones that matter.

I liked how the anime did sakura plowing through naruto when konoh did that perverted technique where she grabbed naruto by the hair and wiggled him around like a rag doll XD that was funny.

The fact is that Naruto's feelings were irrelevant.

 

All that mattered to NH is what Hinata wanted and that she got it.

 

As far SS, I couldn't tell you. There isn't anyway for me to comprehend their delusional justifications for their pairing.

I like the first half of the first season. Beyond that it's kinda meh. I like Kirito and Asuna together though.
