I'm not too well-versed with the 5 point movie critic system. Would a 3.45 qualify as good, mediocre, or great? 

 

 

Usually a 3.45 would qualify as above average.

Kishi just made his mc the most hated character. All for hinata.

Kishi is going to have to do damage control on naruto than worry about making SS real.

No amount of damage control can save Dark Naruto for me.

Dude, this movie is pretty much just replacing Shion with Hinata  

Except Shion was better developed.

He could not say anything and the bond was broken between  Naruto and Sakura. ( example in my point of view Sakura  didn't feel anything when Naruto was talking about his mother besides that was interrupted by Ino) all because they didn't make Hinata silver medal.

Honestly it's hard to really judge a movie based on a much loved franchise. many will watch with rose tinted glasses, many will troll just for sh*ts and giggles, and many will be honest. So it's a mix bag.

 

Though looking at the ratings for all the other movies on the site, this probably means it's considered average.

Though I don't like how she tells Naruto that he only loved her because he didn't want to lose to Sasuke. That's just awful.

 

Don't hate Sakura for this. The way I think of it is that she was starting to reciprocate his feelings, but wanted him to affirm his feelings for her one last time before entering into a relationship with him because she needed to be sure that he was truly in love with her instead of simply being infatuated due to some other reason.

 

To her surprise, Naruto did not deny the claim at all, causing Sakura to think that what she said might indeed have been the truth. With that, she decided to take a step back in order to allow Naruto to be happy. The thought that he might have been doing the same for her never crossed her mind.

Well on a scale of 1-100, a 3.45 equates to a score of 69, or a D+. That sounds like it would fit anywhere between average/mediocre and good on the movie critic spectrum.  While a semi-positive review isn't good for us, it's not quite as horrible as some might have been expecting from reviewers. Hopefully there are more in-depth reviews that give this atrocity the score it truly deserves.

Judging by the skewered translation that I was able to glean from Google Translate, it seems like Mr. T is expressing gratitude for watching the movie. At least, that's what I assume he's saying.

I'm gonna always say this till the end, but I believe if we got Shion instead of Hinata in the manga, and it was her and Naruto that became canon in the end. I think I would be a bit more satisfied because there were layers to Shion's character. Just like how Sakura's character had layers to her. Plus I'd feel like there would be some chemistry going between Naruto and Shion similar to their relationship in the first movie. 

 

Yeah I'll admit Shion was kinda kitteny in the beginning, but she did change for the better by the end.
