The amount of good NS fanfics that are coming from this ending are really good. I'm surprised. I like affair fics but it must be done tastefully not that I would have an affair in rl life but I mean it's fanfiction soo.. LOL

You know Kishi will screw it up somehow we all know this. Brito was doomed from the start. Anything he does will be lackluster compared to Naruto's deeds unless he turns evil under Sasuke.

I would say more like "it was red herring." That's like another way of saying it. In other words, you're right more or less.

It's too bad these weren't the exact words. The rejoinder is obvious: "I do believe what I read in the manga. Do you recall what you wrote in it?" or "Of course not, I didn't think anyone could write an ending that bad."

I'm so conflicted about affair fics. Like, I have serious RL hatred for cheating and affairs and whatnot. But, I have NH and SS so much and it's fiction and it leaves me so conflicted and upset.

Good point, I always thought some characters within the Akatsuki were not  explored at all  like Hidan ( and his Jashin cult), Deidara ( who was reduced from an promising character to an another Uchiha hater) and Konan... even so when some of these characters were explored, it was done in a very stupid manner like for example Zetsu.

 

I liked Kisame , especially how in the end he was not subjected to some kind of trashy talk no jutsu, though I would've liked a more in depth explanation on Kismae's past role in the seven mist swordmen and during the blood mist period

 

Itachi was a good character in my opinion, I think the greatest bane in his character was when Kishi essentially made him into a Gary Stu like character when he came back to life

In terms of some more general background info on things, yeah, it would be nice to know more about Jashinism, for example.

Still, I was also glad that at least some of them were more simple villains who were just bad and even enjoyed it, as opposed to practically every (major) villain being given some sort of sympathetic sob story to somehow justify their actions, and there being hope that they can somehow be "saved". It just felt overused after Nagato.
