Naruto: I did find sympathy for Haku and Zabuza but not to the point of calling him like the coolest guy ever. Zabuza and Haku were a little different I think since they did a better version of a redemption theme as he even helped the village in the end by killing the guy who hired him.
Well you already acknowledged and shed tears over a murdering psychopath like Zabuza who killed untold numbers of children and God knows who else over his long career as an assassin. Your sensei even entertained the notion of him joining sweet "pure hearted" Haku in the afterlife when all he did was shift the tip of his blade towards the contractor who was now trying to kill him after expressing empathy for the only person who remained at his side the entire time. Like that exonerates him of all his past iniquities or the fact that he was willing to help an entire nation remain under the dictatorial thumb of a crime lord for simple profit.
Sympathising and complimenting someone like Obito is not too far off from liking a mass-murdering gun for hire. Especially when you consider how he once looked at you, Naruto, with maniacal glee as he reminisced about how fun it was to kill.

And in the end, all that respect that Naruto had for Obito stemmed from similarities. That's really about it.

That's another thing: Obito got redeemed quick for a guy who pretty much took the majority of the story as the big villain.
Which is kinda dumb if you ask me, Sparda.

So I can see, why I found him more sympathetic than Obtio the love sick puppy who did not want redemption or seak redemption for his crimes.
Fair enough on the point concerning Obito being referred to as the coolest guy being different than his sympathies for Zabuza and Haku. But the segment regarding Zabuza's shift in allegiances with the mindful intention of helping the civilians he just worked to help keep up under tyranny wasn't mentioned. He didn't shed tears over the countless atrocities and suffering he brought onto others. In fact, it was for the sake of convenience that he allied with Kakashi against Gato since he was also going to be killed. I doubt Zabuza was planning to relinquish his career and objective of assassinating the leader of Kirigakure over feeling some compassion for Haku. Why would he? He's already a missing nin with a price on his head and an opposing ideology against his home nation.

Thankfully it was only among the people important to him and not the entire shinobi alliance that would've probably killed it.
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

Yeah, and Sasuke who wanted to kill Obito to justify his actions for revolution to make himself feel better.

That would be overkill. Still, that line from Naruto did happen. And RS was praising him...

So true. Of course, I prefer the translation of Naruto saying he had nothing but respect for Obito, rather than calling him the coolest guy, because it makes a lot more sense for him to respect Obito. After all, he couldn't forgive Nagato for killing Jiraiya and all he did to the Hidden Leaf Village, but he respected him since both were trained by Jiraiya, and Naruto may not have liked Obito for killing his parents and making him a Jinchuriki, but he could respect him for his willingness to not die a monster as well as both having similar aspirations to become Hokage.

Still, Obito shouldn't be a long time villain, rather a villain that shown sympathetic from beginning to the end. We were taught to hate this guy and I mean hate yet here he is being forgiven. That's why luffyq1 hates this.

That's why Talk no Jutsu is so stupid the way it's used. It somehow magically works on individuals who have spent decades or more wallowing in their darkness for one reason or another, and completely entrenched in their beliefs and their willingness to do pretty much whatever it took to carry them out or whatever (Nagato, Obito, Kurama, etc.), yet it never, ever, ever is able to work on Sasuke who has only been stuck in it for a few years and, when compared to those others, has never (successfully) committed any kind of atrocities anywhere near their level.

I actually kind of liked the Talk no Jutsus, mainly early on when it actually made sense and wasn't a damn plot device
I mean the talk no jutsu was really awesome against Zabuza and Gaara, and then after Pein, it completely fell apart

Obitio being forgiven so easily is one of the big problems. With Zabuza even after he "converted" he knew full well that he was going to hell. He didn't hold any doubts of that. Also what turned Zabuza was self reflection, understanding just what Haku had given up for him. Zabuza then understood that the sacrifice of Haku's life wasn't worth the reward he would have gotten for it, even if he ideal plan had worked. He understood that deep down, both he and Haku had more value then as simple "tools". That's what made that arc so compelling, it was a monster realizing his own humanity, and in the end having to succumb to the fact that he was a man who had done nothing but made mistakes, and devalued life. Sure Zabuza was going to hell, and he had wasted his life, but with his last breath he proved that he wasn't a tool to be used by the system but a man. Just like Haku.
Something that also should have happened to Sasuke instead of his "happy" ending, which cost him nothing at all.
Obitio on the other hand, killed Naruto's parents, helped build a terrorist network, started a world war that killed thousands and more, and in the end he went to heaven despite ruining the lives of untold millions. Did he "earn" it? Not many people think he did. I just think it isn't written well, so people doubt it, and in the end feel empty about it.

Nope Zabuza, nagato, and obito are mass murderer.
And there's no heaven or hell in narutoverse. Only after life.
But didn't Zabuza say that he was going to hell and he wanted to be in heaven where Haku was?? Also I think there was a databook explanation on Naruto's afterlife but I can't seem to find it.

Terrible animation is coming !It's gonna burn our eyes!!! I'm telling you, they won't show the "kiss of life"....I'm pretty sure about it !
Baruto movie's plot was revealed, looks like he and Sarada are going to be switching dads.
Lol.
Wait...why Boruto said "I'm gonna change this world" in the teaser....if the world is in peace, why would he change it ?
