I do know that there is a Fist of Blue Sky as a sequel of the manga. But I havem't read it.

I can only tell my impression on the first 6 chapters. I still have 330 chapters to read. The first chapter is rather disturbing though since Guts is er with a demon. And about his God Hand, it's just a hand with a built in crossbow right?

The manga is bound to have a lot of those scenes since it's a seinen. And he did it to kill the demon monster.
