Maybe because It is the only way to show they are hinata and naruto's children without showing them in the same picture. I mean if the theories in here are true and in reality they are not naruhina kids, this might be the only way to trick us about they are being naruto and hinata's children. (and without logic, well because this is kishi  )

There was a theory here, I don't know which page it is. It was about maybe that kid is Hinata and Toneri's (main villain in the last. I think he wants to marry with Hinata and he has blue eyes.) Some people think maybe Toneri is a jinchuuriki and he has whiskers but his hair is hiding them.

As if Biology makes any sense in Naruto. Chiyo was able to revive Gaara from the dead, Sakura cut Naruto's freaking thorax open, and Madara's body transformed into the body of a woman with a kitten.

So I don't think we should think that those whiskers necessarily are created only by a female Jinchuriki. If we had seen Mito's children (Tsunade's father or mother) also having whiskers, I would believe this whole genetic thing about whiskers.

Theories in this threat are really make sense. To me it's most likely NS will canon in the movie. But I just don't want to get disappoint again. My suggestion to you, keep in mind these theories. But remember it is just a possibility. Even though the theories are logical, kishi (the troll) and SP (hinata fanboys) behind the movie
