Yes but that doesn't mean a whole P3 is coming it could also mean just a time skip , like I said this movie like every other movie so far can be just a different concept  with the characters all grown up and even if it serves as an intro toward a time skip that doesn't mean its necessarily canon we still don't know the plot or have any more info on it . What if Naruto is all grown up and everybody are dead in this movie would that mean that its canon ? I sure wouldn't count it as such .  

 

An epilogue is out of the question bc that means that the manga will be resolved in this movie and  what that info says is that the manga will go in its final phase so it isn't an epilogue  .

 

I don't get you last sentence what do you mean by that ? So far the manga has been running just fine and we still got movies once a year usually when an arc is finished in the manga that didn't mean that the manga is going to end or that its gonna have some changes in it .

 

My point was that its still not confirmed as canon and until then until we receive more info we shouldn't claim it as such as something that is definitive  but we can still be open for all possibilities and debate them till then . 

I mean they wouldn't have advisited it that way if a new phase isn't coming up in the manga. You can argue againt Part 3 if you wish, but to be honest, for me it's pretty clear at this point, no matter how much I dislike that idea. And until proven wrong, I take those words for canon :I

I agree with you. Part 3 can goes as long as 100 chapter just for one arc. Unless kishi introduce space ninja.

I agree, and I don't think Kishi will pull a DBZ, with Naruto and Sasuke going to other planets. So we should expect around 50-ish more chapters

I understand what you are saying but I was arguing more from the point of the movie being canon not whether there will be P3 or not , what I mean is yes all this marketing could point toward P3 but it doesn't mean that this movie is canon since there is no info that says that and until I get more info on it I'm not gonna say its canon as its a fact . 

 

As for there being P3 meh! I don't like it very much since its dragging this for to long , but I wouldn't have much problem with it if at least Sakura's feelings are resolved after the war end of P2 whatever, he has been holding them for to god damn long continuing it through P3 would be just more ridiculous not to mention how bad that looks for Sakura and NS as a whole . P3 can either be good for us or bad depends on how Kishi resolve this whole mess so for now I will focus on the direction that the manga is going .

I understand now if there is one yeah it would probably be one arc since I'm pretty much sure Kishi wants to ends this in 2015 . Still I refrain form claiming the movie as canon until more info is released and being stated as such .

Part 3 as a single story arc I can handle as long as it's not as dragged out than either P1 or P2. I just hope Kishimoto choses to resolve the pairings at the end of P2 instead of dragging it all the way into P3. Things will look even worse for the pairing subplot if that was the case.

 

Though I don't think that'll happen. Since SS is entering it's final stages with Sakura's resolution, NaruSaku is very close to becoming canon. I honestly can't picture them still not being together after another timeskip. NaruSaku will probably become canon after this war at the latest.  

 

Let's just hope it doesn't become canon off-panel.

Just to be clear, it doesn't say "finale phase of the manga" just "the curtain will finally be raised on the finale phase!" of the manga is just my interpretation. When I say the manga I'm talking about the entire work of Naruto. So the finale phase will not in the paper manga for sure. But I think it will imo.

Kishimato has stated many times that he whants to ends this manga and give his family his full time but that does not mean he will not make a third part or they won't be a third part, even if there is 1% chance that he returns the Anime team still owns the rights for the anime and if they feel like they can still continue milking the anime I personaly won't put it past them to make a continuation of the story.
