Instead of debating what has happened, let us look towards the future! How are these pairings going to resolve? Let's predict!

I honestly can't think of any rational way for SasuSaku or NaruHina to happen so..... Well anyways I think NS will happen after Naruto's confession.

The only defence NaruHina fans have for themselves is "Sakura still loves Sasuke, and Hinata confessed first!" If I dad a penny for every time I've read this, I'd be rich!

The most rational way I can see SS is for Sasuke to beg on his knees for Sakura's forgiveness and cry rivers. NH: I guess Naruto has to say something like "I never realized what was right before my eyes" or something.

As for NS, anything can happen But I hope they'll bring up Sakura's confession, her confused feelings, and the forehead scene.

Let's pretend Naruto convinces Sasuke to be good again. So what is Sakura going to do? Sasuke has no romantic feelings for Sakura at all. They aren't going to just instantly fall in love. The same problem with Hinata's confession would occour. If it were to happen it would have to be in a epilogue.

Naruhina, again it would have to be in a epilogue since Naruto has no romantic feelings for Hinata.



In either of these situations Naruto and Sakura are going to need to resolve their feelings for eachother. It seems highly unlikely that when Naruto confesses to Sakura that they will agree that their love isn't ment to be.

SasuSaku is in a similar situation because it's still one sided. Sakura may love Sasuke, but Sasuke doesn't love her. Maybe if Sasuke regressed into himself from 3-4 years ago, then things might advance, but other than that, that entire situation is petrified and can only move again if Sasuke returns to the good side and develops romantic feelings for Sakura. And that only happens if Sakura gives him the time of day even if he does return. Loving someone is different from wanting to be with them. If Sakura really wanted to be with Sasuke because she loves him so much, she would have left the village long ago in search of him. She might've even tried to join him like she pretended to a while back.

only problem is that Naruto is ending and I don't think there is any time for a romantic relationship to develoup between Sasuke and Sakura. Especially since Sasuke is still evil.

It is comedic in real life, actually. One good example I know would be my brother-in-law and sister. My brother-in-law often says a lot of wisecracks and does stuff that gets her riled up and gives him a good punch. And what's more, he does those stuff on purpose. Figure out that he can never be the person she thought he was. Even if Sasuke has a change of heart in terms of Justice, he can never be a sweetheart. She'll figure out, if she already hasn't, that Naruto is the guy that she was always looking for

I didn't ask if she was going to. I asked how she was going to.

Are you suggesting she will just randomly decide to think about it and come to that conclusion? I think that's highly unlikely.

I guess is that Chapter 540 is the beginning of that. She's already acknowledging that Sasuke is not a great guy and that liking him causes her pain.

She'll then realize that those romantic feelings she has for Sasuke originate from immature desires. Eventually she could conclude that even though she loves him she's not in love with him. Then as Naruto grows closer to her she'll get reaffirmation that he's the guy she would be the most glad to give her heart to.

The answer to that question is and I maintain will be, A revisit to the bench scene. Somehow during a talk with Naruto or a confrontation with Sasuke that moment on the bench when naruto complimented her forehead will be brought up. She will then realize who complimented her forehead and by proxy who read her heart in truth, and shell make the decision from there that shes pretty well allreayd made.

I fully agree that 540 was the beginning of Sakura's reevaluation of her feelings for Sasuke, which will lead to her discarding whatever lingering romantic feelings she has left for him.

The bench scene could potentially play a role, but since it hasn't been brought up in regards to her feelings for Sasuke since ever, I don't know that it will. It could be that it will be revisited only in regards to Sakura's feelings for Naruto (since for all she knows, it was Sasuke and he didn't actually mean those words -"That sounds like something Naruto would say" --> Sakura's comically depressed face).

I know that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke are going to get resolved one way or another. What is going to trigger this resolve, and what will this resolve be.
