So you are seriously telling me 0.6% of the entire population of Japan was in a Cinema watching the movie, would Japan even be capable of seating that many people in one day, those figures would put in in line for being the highest grossing opening weekend in Japan of all time.

 

Just to put it in perspective, One Piece Z did $16,339,700 in December 2012 for the opening weekend, when the Yen was around the 80Yen per Doller mark, (so it would be around 1.33B Yen for the two days) and that is the fourth highest grossing movie in Japan ever, if 1.47B is correct and we get only half as many people going on day two, Naruto will smash every single Box Office record in Japan even with the Japanese Yen being at 120Y per Doller. and if we were to convert the amount in 2012 rates we would be looking at $27,000,000 in ticket sales.

 

Yeah so either the source is complete bull or Naruto is about to become the highest opening weekend in Japan of all time.

I don't know why the box office numbers are relevant or in dispute. This movie was deceptively marketed and it released after the ending. The fact it only did 175% better than RTN is underwhelming imo.
