So, new here.

 

Anyway...hm, when I first got into Naruto I kinda leaned toward NH, but after watching a good part of the series and getting a good feel of the characters, it was like "Nope, we're going with NS". Although I still thought NH was cute, but now I find myself being immediately turned off by any fanworks containing NH. IDK why, maybe because I see it and the NH/NS couple wars every-frickin'-where.

I'm not even sure why I prefer NS to NH, I just do. I've noticed that other pairings I ship have similar chemistry/personalities, so maybe that has something to do with it.

 

As for what happens in the manga, I don't really care what Kishimoto does pairing-wise, so long as it makes some amount of sense. Neither are pairings my main interest; I'm rather in it for the characters themselves and not who they end up with.

 

Have to say, though, that if Kishimoto did set Naruto up with anybody, I think it'd most likely be Sakura. They know each other the best, Naruto always loved her, the best information that I could find hints that Sakura feels the same way...it just makes sense.
Plus, to my knowledge, the NH fanbase is mostly from Western fans. Japanese fans from what I heard tend to lean more toward NS. But I'm not expert or anything, so, y'know, I could be wrong on that regard. *shrugs*

One thing thats just kinda making me go ugh right now, many fans think that theres still some mental connection between Naruto and HInata from 677. I read some predictions people make and when they just keep throwing in stuff like sakura stuck on sasuke and somehow naruto gets images of hinatas mind, I just go, stop please just stop, why are you even thinking like this? Theres nothing special about hinata in this case, just stop, this doesn't even make sense and theres no reason for naruto having some drop everything for her event. When I see this, I stop reading. Its again, people think Hinata is special and above all others and that some romance event will spontaneously occur, like as if naruto didn't already hear her confession the first time...

 

I really wonder how long fans will continue to brush off events like 457 with naruto saying he loves sakura and 631 only confirming that he still loves her.

How long will they continue to say Naruto will get with Hinata even AFTER the series is done?

they never will. The series will end with Naruto happily married to Sakura and them with children, and they will say some kitten like Naruto will break up with Sakura and get with Hinata

They'll keep brushing it off until Kishi actually throws the fact in their face by having Naruto loudly proclaim that he loves Sakura

Seriously, it will NOT be on the cover, it must be what they are wishing that you read. Hinata has appeared on 5 panels in the latest 2 chapters, it's as much as Gaara on this week's chapters. She's irrelevant in this volume, she doesn't do anything important. 
And don't get me start up on SS, the only way it could be on a cover would be by drawing Sasuke beating up Sakura like a poor little dog affraid of his master, because that the impression you get by reading chapter 678. There was no positive interaction since his arrival, did it?
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, it's the first rule and it's not only for the Naruto fandom, it works for everything. 

Anyways, NS is canon in my head because SS is dead now, and I know Kishi will never make Sakura single.

I know what you mean, in my head, SS is dead too. But it's not official until Sakura finally realize Sasuke is not good for her and until she states that she doesn't love him anymore and this time hopefully means it when saying it.

I've decided I need to write a wall about why NS could work marriage-wise and SS simply wouldn't. But it will have to wait until I sort out my jumbled thoughts. That's why I'd like to ask you first. What do you think regarding this topic? What kind of life partners Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke would be if they married (not in the "ménage à trois" sense, of course)?

It might have something to do with Naruto's reaction right after Hinata and everyone else got tangled up then in this chapter he doesn't realize whats happening outside until Sasuke tells him. SOme people are making the excuse that since he didn't know what was happening outside he didn't know everyone else was in danger and was still reacting mentally to Hinata.

As this story is coming to a close reality will prove to be a dense brick wall that NH will collide with very soon.

That's what I'm saying. WE know it is dead but Sakura didn't stated it herself. I want her to say it outloud or at least think it.

No I meant he implied that she already knows its dead. Because of the way he worded it that she's saving Sasuke "because its her duty" not because she thinks she still loves him or because she still has unresolved feelings for him. That she was trying to save someone she liked despite nearly getting killed by him.

The context of his statement feels like he's implying she's aware of this herself.

I always took this scene as Kakashi saying that he thinks her feelings for Sasuke have changed, thus saying it to the reader through Kakashi's words. But I don't think Sakura is awara of it. And it's confirmed in the next chapter, when she's sad that Sasuke doesn't care about her, she still expect him to be the Sasuke she loves, but he's not that Sasuke and she's starting to realize that.

Well with the currents events that are happening since latest chapters, I would say she's on the verge to realize it. But I agree that Kishimoto didn't very well handled Sakura's feelings for Sasuke, because it's not logic for her to realize that Sasuke is not good for her at this state of the manga, just because he doesn't care about her, while 200 chapters ago he was trying to kill her for the third time. 

 

Hinata will end with kiba because kiba is naruto 2.0

I don't like the idea of everyone being paired up with someone, it's not a shojo. I think Hinata ending up single would be a great thing for her character who was for a long time only tied up to the love part of the story while she could be seen as a strong woman who can be a perfect leader for her clan without a man at her side at the end. But it doesn't mean she won't have any man for the rest of her life, I mean that Kishi could show her with a random Hyuuga as her man in one panl at the end, if he decides to show what every rookies have are now (at the end), compared to what they were before.
