The Last earned 1.47 billion yen (12 million dollars) in one night.

 

RTN earned 1.48 billion over it's entire theatrical run and took several weeks to earn 1 billion.

 

I'm sorry to be the barer of bad news, but The Last will outsell RTN by a lot. The only thing that could stop that would be if there was a nation wide blackout for a month.

The movie has already payed for itself overnight. The next movie and mini-series already announced. They have already invested far too much in this ending to turn back now and with the sales numbers so far they have no reason to even think twice.

Start of part two and end of part one is kind of the same isn't it? I don't think our translations contradict with TakL. End of the childhood era and start of adolescent is either end of part one or start of part two.

Pretty much. Making that much in one night is unheard of for a shounen anime movie, especially considering it has resulted in pissing off a sizable portion of the fanbase.

Voicing Naruto for many years, I believe Junko understands Naruto more than anyone. She must have felt some kind of emotions when Naruto did the promise of a Lifetime and other moments. I'm glad there is someone that doesn't threat Naruto's feelings like kitten.

You don't need a scene  you only need for Kishimoto to make Naruto say that Hinata is a scary mom and voila another retcon is born just like that  .
