I kinda don't like how Naruto's relationship with Tsunade overshadows Sakura's. I mean it's not all the time, but when it happens, it just doesn't feel right exactly. Before the time skip, Naruto had to have known Tsunade maybe a month or so, but it's not like he was in her office 24/7, when he came back he did interact with her, but so far it's only been about two years since he's back. So Naruto has known/ interacted with Tsunade for about 2-3 years, while Sakura has known Tsunade and been close to her for 4-5 years.

 

I know it's because Naruto's the main character and all. but delving a bit into Sakura's relationship with Tsunade would have been nice. Like does Sakura see Tsunade only as a teacher, or a grandmother, mother, or aunt to her?

 

Sadly we might never know, but it would have been nice to.

Jiraiya did adopt him. I guess it was said somewhere that because he spent some 11 years on spying on akatsuki, he could take care of Naruto and when he came, he did. And besides he is Naruto's godfather . I'd say, Naruto changed Tsunade. After that Orochimaru thing, she kind of...placed all her bets, all her trump cards on him and him alone!

Agree. I think after he saved her, Naruto forced her to be his grandmother. I've always liked how she went all in on him. Don't think she's lost a bet yet.

Well, when Naruto and Sakura get hitched, she'll definitely have to consider Tsunade family, if she doesn't already ;)

I would have liked to see more of their relationship though...

Well, if you put it this way, surely you are right. Even I would have liked to see more interactions or rather a bond which goes beyond a Teacher-Student relationship like that of Naruto and Jiraiya. But what we got, isn't as bad either.

Well after Kaguya I expect Sasuke to show his true colors and try to hijack IT on his own.

Imagine that. But that will defeat his purpose of fighting the war when he wants things to be real.

Well ever since the talk with the Edokages he's been slipping more and more into darkness (before he saved Sakura now he doesn't bat an eye to her getting stabbed) it would also kind of explain why he wouldn't tell Team 7 his intentions despite usually not caring what other people think about him meaning it probably would be something they would try to stop immediately as opposed to later.

Lol yeah, I was referring to her bets on Naruto and never losing those. She's horrid at gambling otherwise. Which brings up the question, since Hashirama is the one that taught her how to gamble, doesn't that mean that he is one of the worst teachers in the history of the leaf?

XD. No is my answer. One reason is we did not have much insight on who were Hashirama's students and how did he teach them and the second....teacher can teach the best but not necessarily the student will take the best. One example is of Nagato. Jiraiya raised Nagato and Naruto with the same discipline and principles. Yet Nagato and Naruto turned out to be different. Nagato turned out to be a gray guy, so that doesn't mean Jiraiya was a bad teacher right? He did raise someone as noble as Naruto. I hope you get the point I am trying to make here

Their for sure will be tired so either timeskip or some kind of background arc for fight? Opinion plz. I just hope that kind of arc will have some kind of good conclusion things and NS moments

If imagination can come to life in front of the real people, Sakura, who mastered genjutsu just now, create a doublegagger of Naruto and Sakura and then do it in front of them. Hinata keeps pleading, "Make it stop!" Sai is like, "Yeah, no difference in my own dream."

I...don't think it'll go quite THAT far, but you never know. However, it would be pretty funny if Hinata walked in on Naruto and Sakura when they were making out

You know what's funny in a strange way. This plan of Madara (Kaguya) almost seem like Naruto being heel in the end. Like:

Naruto: I'm the Hokage now, Kiba! You got your dreams, now enter mine, only reality. Sai has no interest for love except...ahem, Sasuke is a lone wolf. Sakura-chan loves me, Lee. No out of this world bugs for me or Sakura-chan. Shikamaru, I got you cover about love. Lee and Gai, stay classy. Chouji, you have ton of girls waiting for you, I mean come on, you're awesome. Tsunade, I'm still alive, hope that's ok. Mei, aren't you old? Gaara, friends to the end, sorry about the lack of love long ago. And did I mention I love Sakura-chan, so no other girls for me. Well, it's not only that, there are a lot of things going on in real life like that now. I don't really want to get into to it too much because it's a lot of political stuff.

Is it just me or does anyone else feels like Sai's dream was kept a secret for a reason. I mean we can see him having emotions or his brother or something like that. But as a matter of fact, we can even get Naruto and Sakura getting together in his dreams. The reason, Sai has learned much things from them and the first time he felt emotions was around them. I guess it won't be that far fetched to see Naruto and Sakura get together in his dream, or is it?

When it's anime the song I'll make love to you- by Boyz 2 Men will play in the background. It's slow enough so even go with Hinata's crying.( Yeah, I'm terrible.)

 

@ns256 it wouldn't be too far off and i think it would be interesting to see that in his dreams, but wouldn't that go against NH being impossible because it's in the dream world?

It would have been nice if Sakura and Tsunade's relationship had been given more focus and exposition. We don't really get to see Sakura's bonds with anyone outside team 7 in detail, not her parents (RTN notwithstanding), not Tsunade, not even Shizune. Her friendship/rivalry with Ino faded into the background after part one and Sakura's only notably bond during part two outside the team 7 triangle was with Chiyo. 

 

There are little glimpses into Sakura's relationship with Tsunade, but it's mostly left to the reader's imagination. I'd have liked to see more but it's unlikely to happen. If only Kishi hadn't spent so long virtually ignoring Sakura, maybe her bonds and relationships with Tsunade and others -- not named Naruto, of course -- could have been more properly developed.

I'll say this. It's rather funny that they skipped Sai because it almost feel like those with the ones that doesn't expose in visual are the one that won't happen at all. If tell or hint, it still has a chance of happening. When I look back at the chapter, all of them has no chance of happening. What's weird is that most of them that don't have their already established friends like Sakura being in Ino is not needed because everything you see is not possible. I may have to explain deeper one day but I think you get my point.

Yeah, I do get your point. So essentially you are saying the same thing as what RedRose wants to say. Okay, here's a question for both of you and anyone for that matter, 'Why was Sai's dream left out?' Kishi knew full well about this, so is it done on purpose?
