I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Tsu's on a break from the fandom, but last time we tried we still had those awful problems with echoes, it ended up more like a comedy than a podcast   . But I'll make sure to contact her and ask her! So I'll totally let you know!

Welcome everybody to Boruto - Naruto The Movie - where it's all about Sasuke. But we couldn't call the movie Boruto - Sasuke The Movie or Sasuke - Sasuke The Movie because Sasuke's name doesn't have the weight to sell like Naruto. So we're going to use Naruto's name to attract people.

they should change the name of the series to sasuke then lol, and gaiden plus this movie can be that "mini series" that was talked about last year starring sasuke. i'm not a sasuke fan so, i wont be wasting my time...thanks for the warning kishi, seriously does he HEAR himself sometimes?

That he pitied Hinata enough to give her a prize? That Sakura is obsessed with Sasuke? At least those two comments have panned out. Now whether you believe this film is actually his "crowning masterpiece" or not is up to you. Personally, I believe it will fall into the same category as all of the other obscured Part 1 and Shippuden films that were ranked as average to below average. Compared to "The Last", however, that's a step up.

If you actually think about Kishimoto was really vague about anything related to Naruto. He never really gave us a straight answer in his previous interviews.

I disagree. You should compare against the lifetime of the product, starting from initial release until the producer stop producing it. Not just by its first week. You will then get a true picture whether product A is more successful than product B.

My colleagues in logistics division used to tell me that comparing first week sales of different products within the same family is like comparing apples and oranges. They're just not comparable.

In supply chain, first week sales and preorders are mostly used to gauge inventory level and reorder plan for subsequent production batch. You don't book your order to manufacturer to produce one million copies at one go. You stagger based on the demand of the market. This is necessary to avoid goods return due to oversupply which can result to write-off.

The key value is actually the demand rate across period. There are products which has so-so/predictable first period, but across its lifetime they maintained their demand (different segments buy at different time, in different location).

There are also products which has superb first period, but unable to maintain their demand across its lifetime (segments who wanted it the most already bought it, and other segments are not interested).

The last volume of Naruto managed to sell about 870k copies in its first week, but the second week drops significantly to be barely 180k copies. By ratio, that was a very huge drop. And when you compare to the historical sales of this franchise, you'll never see so much drops in the second week. People who followed this series for long time can relate...

So, don't judge too quick. Let's wait and see...

He talks on and on about war but nothing gets resolved in the end. And he likes to have really boring and unnecessary cutscenes that don't really lead anywhere. It's just trying to invoke emotion about that subject.
