So let's pretend we got a SS ending, then :
Why is Sasuke an hobo in the Last ?
Why would Kishi even bothered with the MinaKushi parallel.
Why would Naruto have presented Sakura as his GF to his dad.
And how messed up would it be to have the anti hero (who treated the girl VERY badly) steals her from the hero who loves her and has done so much for her ? That would put Sakura in a VERY bad light. Impossible. And all Naruto could get is consolation girl Hinata, a girl he barely acknowledge the existence of and that his mom wouldn't approve of. And even that is unlikely because Naruto doesn't give up, which means forever alone end for him being the godfather of pink haired Uchiha boys.
Also Sakura has better reason to change her feelings than Naruto has, and her feelings are shown to be ambiguous unlike Naruto.
Sasuke is a hobo in the last because like he told Naruto, even if Naruto forgives him that doesn't mean everyone else will. He'll stay a hobo until Naruto becomes Hokage and let's him come home.
The only plausible answer is that he changed his mind while writing it and just pretended like this didnt happen
To emphasize where his feelings were at that moment.
Kishi could have it play out this way to endear Naruto (the selfless, broken-hearted one) and also endear Hinata (the girl who comes along and gives him the love he didn't get)
Agreed, but Sakura could realize she can't shake Sasuke, her first "love", no matter how hard she's tried. Also she has a secret thing for guys that want to murder her and abuse her.
I completely agree, it would be utter nonsense. You should add to this list:
Why have multiple character point out Sakura's unresolved or hidden feelings for Naruto to have her never address them
Why give two characters the most development with constant romantic overtones to throw them at other characters they know little to nothing of in comparison to each other
Why make RtN a giant NS fest to just ignore the parallels you remembered in it
Why destroy Sakura's development by having her still "love" and choose Sasuke
Why contrive a sketchy and poorly integrated love story between Naruto and Hinata in a MOVIE when obviously it wasnt important enough in the actual story (I know movie is canon)
We all know how it should end. I just dont trust Kishi with his own story hahaha. He can't possibly have forgotten such a crucial and huge relationship.
