Wtf? I checked here like 40 minutes ago, and this place was dead. And now everyone ha gathered in here, lol.

I would love nothing more than to destroy SP. I honestly didn't like how they animated TG. It wasn't impactful and lacked movement. It's lazy at best.

Was Koutaro's relationship with Akira only a superior and a subordinate? Not like I mind either way since their relationship is fascinating. Another thing TG is better than Naruto: You don't need a label to each relationship between characters because they are beautiful and they stand out on their own either way. Friendship, family, romance, it doesn't matter what it is, it's wonderful you don't need to define it.

I'm thinking of reading :re after three volumes comes out. The reason why is because if I start reading it I will be too addicted I cannot wait to see the next volume and I'll get anxious

volume 2 comes out on March 19th or so I think.

Akira was in love with Amon, and I'm sure Anon felt the same, but it looked to me like he had some skeletons in his closet that he hadn't fully dealt with, thus he wasn't able to return her affections. And I agree, the relationships of the characters aren't in a position where they overshadow the story, because the story is so good, which was the problem with Naruto.

they cut out uta/yomo's backstory ...
ugh the anime shouldnt have been only 12 episodes

The Uta and Yomo backstory was like a joke in the anime series. It was put on the last part of an episode (￢_￢)

Don't worry, you will get the explanation in the upcoming episodes, note due to the route, certain characters get spotlighted and some don't, since each route reveals something different for them and the servants legends are completely based on actual myths just a few changes.

I feel the same with TG animation and even though the soundtrack is good, it doesn't fit the show too well and are constantly repeated and put in unnecessary scenes

Glassy sky is like epic , the problem is that they repeat it too much

Yay! You gave Fate/Stay Night- UBW a try! You can't see any better japanse animation than this. Other than that, the whole concept is also very intriguing. An explanation to what is going on should be in episode 2 or 3. Rin Tohsaka, that chick who was the MC in the prologue, will be the main girl of the series. The girl with the blond hair is Saber. She is Ryo's and mine favorite out of the three girls. She is not that impressive to me in this route. The third girl is Sakura who cooks everyday breakfast and dinner at Shiro's house b/c... well, it's not only b/c she has a crush on Shiro.

 

Back to TG: Akira no doubt loved and continues to do so. Amon... well, I understand why he acted that way. Pretty sure that the woman he has lost in the past was his lover before she was killed by the ghouls.

If he wants to wait for three volumes, he'll have to wait until June... Good luck with that Ramen

I never would have felt the same way about Sakura if I had not seen Fate/ Zero and read the summary of Heaven's Feel Route. Goodness, that girl suffered so much T^T

 

What do you think of Akira's voice actress? You know what I think is weird/astounding? She is actually only 21 but you can easily forget that b/c of the way she acts.

Imao, that was sad to watch. I hated how that one guy cause all this ruckus towards the end and destroyed the entire Tohsaka family. Wasn't that one dream the silverhaired guy with all the insects (forgot his name) had so tragically beautiful?

 

Really, how come you don't like the voice actress? I think she suits Touka perfectly. She did a great job the last episode of Root A if you ask me.

Juzou's voice... What do you expect from character with an androgynous appearabce I swear to god, his voice sounds like cancer to me.

Lol I was trying to find a pic from re between you know who and.... you know who without it being a spoiler for some of our other friends who jut started getting into Tokyo Ghoul so I was trying to find one that from the original series with the sig I was picturing in my head. It's not the one I was planning, but it's closet one I could find for now. Once I find the pic it'll change. You can call it a temporary pic.

Touka is more or less a tomboy to me. So I think this rough aspect of her voice fits her. If you want to, the same voice actress can also sound this cute as you can hear her voicing the silvehaired girl in here :
