I just saw someone on tumblr who said that all the parallels between MinaKushi, NaruSaku and NaruHina should stop and that In NS case theres a lot similar couples, but all of them ended bad (Jiraya died, Yahiko died, Obito "died"). They also said that since all of those ended bad NS will also end up badly if you pair them together (what?). Lastly, they said that NH and MK had best parallels (what?) between each other and that MK started the same way as NH (what?) but they still "doubt it will happen."

What do you think of this argument? I think that it fails to consider the statement from the manga that the new generation is supposed to surpass the old generation, and that although other relationships paralleled to NaruSaku may have ended badly, NaruSaku will not necessarily end badly. Also, I think it makes an invalid assumption that because other similar relationships have failed the current relationship is bound to fail. I also think that saying NH and MK had the best parallels and they started the same way is a faulty statement. To say this, when NS and MK obviously started the same (with the girls not liking the boys) AND when the parallel between Sakura an Kushina has been confirmed by MINATO himself, I think is kind of crazy :/

It’s clearly shown that Naruto-Sakura-Sasuke represent the new Sannin generation:



Another here where Tsunade compare Naruto to Jiraiya, and Jiraiya compare Sakura to Tsunade:



Here Jiraiya said that one of his failure is that Tsunade turned him down:



Here’s one of the few instance where we got the belief that has been seen everywhere in the manga that the new generation will surpass the old one :



All that means that Naruto will succeed where Jiraiya failed and will get the girl that he love even if she did turn him down at some point : Sakura.

Why should we believe that these parallel’s are real? Well we got one of our parallels confirmed, Sakura being like Kushina and Naruto like Minato, those who say that Naruto is like Kushina aren’t exactly wrong but aren’t exactly right either. Naruto has Minato’s determination,will and so on.

And, some people are keep saying "Naruto has a childish crush,lol" well no, it's not like this at all. *_*

About Sakura's feelings, this is something that people can argue about easily so I won't go deep:

What Sai reads in those books are like small hints of what Kishimoto thinks and how how he portrays things.

And yes Naruto and Sakura sometimes act like two Kushina's they're similar but not completely similar for example Naruto is considered as dumb while Sakura intelligent, they're complimenting each other, Sakura fills what Naruto lacks, while Naruto fills what Sakura lacks, therefore they are called "Heaven and Earth" (Iruka's words)

Well stated and presented. The manga has been ongoing for such a long period of time that people may oftentimes forget about previously established concepts or statements. In retrospect there is much foreshadowing for future events and Kishi does appear to have a general idea for the story that he has consistently abided by regardless of what others would denounce as erratic writing. Although there may be a few oddities here and there that would compel someone to question if he had the foresight to make this concept into a plot point with development.

- Sasuke giving Sakura a kakashi-rin I'm not the right guy, or "that was not me on that day" type ordeal speech. If Sasuke talks to Sakura the same way over his actions like Kakashi did to rin, that fits a parallel, if not but we get something like Sasuke only remembering what he said to Sakura that day (about being alone) then that would trigger the forehead compliment event.

 

 

 

 

Whew, anything, but I hope not this one.    If this happens, for me it seems like Sakura have just chosen Naruto because of Sasuke's rejection.  It seems like she has no choice after all but to divert her attention and "love" to the one whom she knows that loves her so. (or something like those two) 

Well, we all want Naruto and Sakura to be together, but if they will be with that reason, I think I will have to disagree.  

Hmm, I think that it will be a lot better if they will be together just because of their own actions and feelings towards each other, I mean, solely because of them.  I believe it will be really great if Sakura will chose Naruto because of her OWN WILL, because SHE LIKES HIM, and because SHE LOVES HIM.  Well we can also take into account some help from their friends for the development, it will also strengthen their relationship in a way that there are people who support them.   

Well, I actually wish and HOPE that Sakura will totally forget and move-on from Sasuke BECAUSE of Naruto.   I believe it will be a more solid, more firm, and a stronger relationship between Naruto and Sakura if this will happen.   

Well, those are just my opinions though.

That ending is possible but kind of insults the fans of the show by him dying and thus continuing the cycle of failure. I guess at that point Konohamaru would have to bring peace to the world? I don't know, it just doesn't make any sense for something like that to happen.

Show more mercy next time, these are fellow Naruto fans we're talking about. You know how powerful powerful logic is, use it to try and show them why NaruSaku is a beautiful thing that anyone can admire. Don't just destroy them, even if it is "funny and amusing".

Only did this though cause this was someone who constantly pestered a friend and other NS fans on Deviantart. This friend was simply speaking her mind about how she had issues with Hinata being 1 dimensional in her own opinion, then we got this guy with a superiority/inferiority complex. Not really on for arguing about this stuff but this was a deal where it was a fan who tries to turn something with criticism on Hinata into unintended flame wars by starting to rant on others and saying they are stupid just for liking Sakura. But there is a difference in one case though I see many people here do, they act fair and learn a lot about Hinata, so I wouldn't call us fully baised, There have been plenty of arguments and good reasoning on Hinata's actions and character on this site, not bashing. One reason I love this site, we know Sakura's flaws, we know NS flaws, and we learn about the NH argument (the logical aspects for it, basically treating it with reason from the manga like we do with NS).

I hope this will happen, more on the fact that we can see Naruto struggle on his internal problems. I haven't seen Naruto struggle internally since the waterfall of truth. For some apparent reason I like Naruto's internal struggles because his character becomes more complex once we know what's troubling him.

And your opinion is fantastic, I don't want to see Sakura going to Naruto because Sasuke rejected her again at that point even when I love NS it won't fit well for me.

I know Sasuke is Kishimoto's darling but Naruto and Sakura and his female main character and his male main character both deserves more respect.

 Asuming that Kishi changed the development Sasuke vs Naruto, he could possible change the end, Naruto dying the fans will not like that, but think it twice if Naruto dies would be the last hit for the shinobi world is time to change, besides no more loneliness for the blonde in heaven with his family. Even he does not become Hokage, still Naruto will achieve peace.
