I've said this before, but I think of NaruHina like LeeSaku. The only reason we have to discuss it is because Hinata has an enormous fan base.

Yeah, I'm surprise there isn't a large Leesaku fan base. Lee did try to save Sakura in the forest of death, and she did give him flowers while his legs were broken (wait, I think the latter only happen in the anime, don't really remember).

But seriously, why does Hinata (and Naruhina) have such a large fan base? It doesn't make sense to me.

That's basically what I said a while back. There is no NaruHina pairing. It's only her fanbase that makes the pairing wars so redicules. If you say Naruto should be with anyone else besides Hinata you've got the entire NaruHina fandom jumping all over you. Ifit weren't for Periot, there wouldn't be such a thing as NaruHina. There would be a SasuSaku, but not a NaruHina. And it's almost written in stone SasuSaku isn't happening. Sakura may love Sasuke, but does that mean she wants to be with him and be the mother of his children? No. It doesn't. As far as I can tell the only pairing that can't pop out of the clear blue sky is NaruSaku because it has what every other pairing doesn't...[/color]DEVELOPMENT!!![color="#000000"] It has comunication, it's two sided, they care for each other in a none selfish way.

If you talk about Hinata you're pretty much forced to talk about NaruHina, but you can talk about Sakura as her own character. And people say that Sakura is pairing fodder??? Gimme a break, please! There is no such thing as "deserving" someone because you love them, and it's really starting to piss me off that NH fans think that Hinata "deserves" Naruto. If you take your boyfriend/girlfriend because they "deserve you" you're either biased or just flat down selfish! I have a girlfriend, and I love her more than anything in the world! I'd do anything for her to be happy! There is nothing about deservance in love and that's the end of the story!

Hinata...just...I really think Kishi made a mistake when he made her. I really do. Her fanbase has got to be one of the biggest jokes I've ever heard.

now that you mention it that makes a lot of sense. I can't believe I was so ignorant to the manga. The entire story progresses around Hinata's chest, It makes perfect sense when you think about it. Naruhina makes absolute sense now.

This is exactly how I feel about this whole pairing mess. But looking back at some of the forums I read, I think I know why a MAJORITY of Hinata fans like her. She is cute and shy. People like the cute and shy girls because a lot of people identify with the shy character cause they, themselves, are shy. Heck, I'm very shy in real life, but I never identify myself to Hinata. I actually identify myself more with Naruto, the main character who we ALL are suppose to identify and/or support. But like I was saying, people like Hinata cause she is shy just like them, and they want to see her win the guy she always wanted.

There isn't really anything wrong for fans to want a fictional character to win, in fact that means the writer is doing his job, getting people invested. There's only two problems I have with this. One, fans may be voting for Hinata to win, but I want Naruto, THE MAIN CHARACTER, to win the girl he SELFLESSLY loves. Two, Hinata is not important. I know every Narusaku fan has said that, but really she isn't. She only did one or two things that were essential to the story, yet somehow fans make a big deal about them and like to claim she is a major character, not a supporting one.

To me there shouldn't be debate, but for some reason there is. And if Naruhina does happen, then I will............................

I'll start in 3 days, I'm ). Or that "Hinata will treat Naruto with the gentleness he deserves, and never hit him".

I also agree that Kishimoto likes to portray calm/aggressive pairings, but I think outer Sakura is calm, inner is dangerously aggressive.

It is for comic relief, but she is the only one that hits him because she knows him the best. She knows when he's doing something dumb, when he's being an idiot. Any of my family members can hit me because they know me (and they do).

Episode 9 I believe, that was the Hinata focus episode. In that episode they said that Naruto likes Sakura because they complement each other, but as a comic duo. Every time Naruto does something dumb, Sakura hits him in a comedic fashion, thus Hinata needs to act more like Sakura to win Naruto over.

I honestly can't think of any rational way for SasuSaku or NaruHina to happen so..... Well anyways I think NS will happen after Naruto's confession.
