Jill and Wesker trailer for Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D.



I was only interested in Revelations, but the above trailer looks so cool... It's really tempting to get Mercenaries as well.

Yeah, I'd recommend waiting. I love my 3DS but, as I mentioned in an earlier post, it's not the complete package yet.

Give it another year or so, and there'll be more games that you might like to try, plus the price might* drop by then.

There's still plenty of life left in your DS Lite.

*It's Nintendo. They don't do price wars.

Well, Nintendo still gets the money that guy paid for the 3DS. XD

I don't know if he has a site, but some websites do collect donations from people who want to see a certain console thrashed, so that may be how he got the cash. It's a real waste of money, if you ask me.

I wonder if he even had to pay to replace the microwave.

Ocarina of Time update

New Boss challenge mode allows you to fight all the Bosses without the adventure. You can fight them one by one or throw down in a huge gauntlet battle.

This news is a few weeks old, but I thought I'd share it for anyone here who hasn't heard about it yet. Apparently Nintendo's going to begin releasing paid DLC for 3DS games starting with the next Fire Emblem title (FE 13: Kakusei/Awakening). Here's the story.

Story

I'm curious to see how it's gonna turn out. I generally don't like the idea of paid DLC, but I'd like to see how it works with a Fire Emblem title. New maps/characters perhaps? I'd be pretty ecstatic if I was able to bring in Tellius or Elibe characters into my army (Ike and Hector are an army by themselves ). I guess I can see the Wi-Fi shop from Shadow Dragon being used on Kakusei, only with actual money used instead of the in-game currency. I think this also opens lots of possibilities for other titles. I think it'd work great on a Mario Kart or Smash Bros. type game, but I'm not sure if I'd want to see the next Zelda title having in-game content cut out in favor of DLC. I'll withhold judgment until I see it, in any case.

Of course, we might have to wait a little longer over here to even find out what all the buzz is about. FE 12 hasn't even been released outside of Japan (which is odd, as I believe Shadow Dragon sold fairly well), so there's a chance this one might not cross the border either. I sure hope to see it though...*crosses fingers*

Ha ha, good call. I preordered my copy last week. I ordered it from a smaller vendor though, so I probably won't have it for another week. You'll have to tell me how great it is in the meantime.

I can't wait to try it out, the screenshots I've seen look amazing!

Have you played the PS2 one? Because it's basically just a port of it. I don't mind buying it again though cause I really liked it. The loading screens are supposed to be faster, but other than that I don't think they added anything new to it.

Nah, I've never owned a Playstation, so it'll be my first time playing it.

Though I generally look at handheld games through a different lens anyway, so I dunno if it would make a difference. I'm still impressed with how incredible the current-gen handhelds look. Mario Kart 7 looked almost as good as MK Wii IMO.
