lol I'm beginning to love that picture I found, but yes I am not the type to settle, I wanted full on, undeniable, body to body hugification bordering on public exhibition so we could have confirmation already.

And don't give me BS about how Japanese culture is so much more reserved blah blah blah I've never been there but i can say so blah blah blah
the naruto movie had a good ending 'face literally in boobs' hug and I'm pretty sure it was made by Japanese people with their culture in tow and they had no problem putting it into the movie without a triple X rating...

Sakura was hugging Naruto with full body contact- groin to groin, breasts pressed against his chest, both arms around him with one hand cupping his face and the other around him around his upper back, chin on his shoulder next to his face.... that's a lot closer than a "bro hug" (and as was said, we don't get to see if he brought his arms up to rest around her waist, with his hands on her back.) If you've seen bro's hug closer than that they must have been "on the downlow"

I respectfully disagree, both arms were not around him, and if by 'downlow' you mean 'drunk' then yes.

I am going to give you that Bs. The Naruto movie are going to compare Naruto movies to the manga now .


They have a more reserved cultural than America does. They go around showing they love the person, so the hug is more intimate then anything.

If you have read any other manga, watched any other anime or anything live action dealing with Japanese culture, you will notice these things. It's the main reason why this hug is more then friends.

The reason is that was for fan service rather than manga proof. In the manga they hardly hug someone they know in the Manga and live action Japanese movies and stuff like that.

I think you are reading the panels in the incorrect order. (they read right to left, not left to right)
Panel 1: Hinata crying
Panel 2: Naruto and Sakura make eye contact
Panel 3: Sakura elbows Naruto
Panel 4: Naruto collapses and Sakura catches him
Panel 5: The last panel on the page is the quarter page panel where Sakura's right hand is cupping the back of his head, and the left arm is around his upper back, with full body contact which is further made obvious by the first panel at the top of the next page:

I can't believe people can deny that hug was romantic in nature, just look at Guy's face. His grin says everything. Heck, why would any of them be smiling like that if it was anything else? Kiba and Lee and Shikamaru and Choji were all there to see the "promise of a lifetime." They know full well that this is a super epic genuine ~**NaruSaku**~ romantic moment.

Didn't know that, but i'm British, the only presidents I know of are the Bush's Clinton, the hollywood actor and Obama. However there is a difference between a Hokage and President, the leader of our countries is one we vote for who we believe will best represent our country and move it in the right direction. The Hokage is meant to be the strongest ninja in the village, one who can protect the village as the final hurdle, same way the fourth Hokage did against the KYuubi, the first did against Madara, the third did against Orichimaru and the fifth did with providing her chakra to the village, and was prepared to do when Naruto butted in. Danzou does not appear to be capable of doing that (Infact he ran away like a scary cat when the invasion took place...somebody needs to bring that up.), if the rest of the ninja's are defeated Danzou doesn't appear to be able to protect said village, plus he is obviously not liked by the regular ninja's in the village with the exception of his own root so he is a bad choice.

Ofcourse i'm beginning to believe the Danzou is Madara theory so it's all a ruse and he's really the most powerful ninja in the world at the moment. He does have Uchiha hair...lol

I can't believe there is so much debate over a hug, and now for some reason Louis Armstrong is stuck in my head. 'You must remember this a kiss is still a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh, the fundimental in life as time goes by'

We can argue all we want, only one person knows what that hug meant, and that's Kishi, and possably his brother and other family members and the publishers...and um...his goldfish. nobody else.

Not really a difference, but he did not show his weakness to the other country's. So I am sorry I forgot that about him.

Everyone noticed the reactions of his other friends, but I've never seen Kakashi's eye get that big!!

Man I can't believe its been this long since I lasted posted, I have some catching up to do.

OK I will admit that this hugging is pure sweet. Finally after 100 chapters we have another moment and this time they are hugging. If anyone asked the question if this is the first time they ever hugged? The answer is yes, especially since this is the only time that Sakura have ever hug Naruto at all. C'mon common curiosity people: why would she hugged him openly when she could've easily done it privately "hint hint". I think NS have finally moved from 2nd base and is now rushing to 3rd where we for this which will occur when Sakura is out of denial. The before we hit the ending should be this
