DOOBLE POOST BUT

I have changed the draft time to tonight at 8:30 PM EST. I hope you all can make it. biggrin.gif If anyone still has issues, let me know.

EDIT: For some reason, it won't let me change it to today...=_______________=

Is there any other time, perhaps Thursday or Wednesday, that would be acceptable? I have to know by tonight, because apparently, you can't change it to the current day, which is stupid.

Pretty bored.

Another double post, but I need the notification thing.

If anyone's online right now, the draft starts in about ten minutes. Good luck!

Well with the NHL season officially underway for the Blues, I just want to say that we are 1-0 on the season. I was worried at first since we were down 3-1 in the first but St. Louis came back and scored 3 straight goals, two of which were scored by PK9 Paul Kariya. 1 game down 81 to go. Oh and one more thing, F*** DETROIT!

REALLY Happy that the Avs could honor Joe with such a great ceremony and a win. They played really well, Craig Anderson was phenomenal in his debut. Matt Duchene really impressed me too. Makes me excited for the season.

So I was really excited about watching the Blue's game today. Turns out that the Blues are taking a back seat to the New Mexico at Texas Tech college football game. Son of a b****. Oh well at least I can still listen to the game on the internet. It's not going well so far. Detroit's leading 2-0 in the first period and the Blues are taking dumb penalties but I'm not giving up yet. Let's go Blues!

Also great performance by the Avs yesterday against the Canucks. Anderson continues to be a beast. I know its just two games, but lookin good!

Wow... a pretty good Battle of Alberta game... 30 seconds til OT... and then Khabi mishandles the puck and it goes into the net.

Not to mention O'Sullivan missed a prime chance at the other end just before...

...wow...
Pretty bored.

You know, since the new D-coach (Bob Woods) seems well on his way to fixing up their defensive woes, and Knuble just being around seems to have revolutionized the Power Play, if the Capitals learn to consistantly play a complete game they're going to be scary good. That 6-1 lead at the end of the 2nd period in Toronto could have easily been 10-1 by the end of the second. Then they "quit playing" and it ended 6-4 -- still a win, but not as impressive.

Yeah that sweep was awesome! I saw a few Red Wing blogs and they talked about how they were going to walk away with three points from this whole ordeal. Uh yeah how's that working out? ROFL. Anyway the Blues are coming home to rest and de-jetlag. Their next game, their home opener, is against Atlanta so I'm expecting the Scottraide Center to be packed. Go Blues!

Yeah, and nine penalties (some of them EXTREMELY questionable) against the Caps, while the Flyers were allowed to get away with a ton of crap. (The Brooks Laich interference call, for example, should have been called on the Flyer for crosschecking Laich into the goal, not the Cap).

Wierd game, overall. About the only thing that I (as a Caps fan) can come away from this feeling good about is that Pronger looked terrible -- good luck dealing with him for the next 7 years... (and on an over-35 contract, too).

Edited to add: But I will say the refs calls were terrible on BOTH sides; just that the bad calls seemed overbalanced against the Caps tonight. (And the goal review on Morrisson's goal, which I admit was borderline kicking from the film I saw, was NOT done by these refs, I'll remind you, but by the people in Toronto)

Best Start in over a decade, A Phillies series win along with a victory over the Pens would make my week. And of course a strong return from Mcnabb would make it even sweeter.

Poorly played game by the Penguins.

Awesome game last night between the Blues and Ducks. Blues win 5-0. We needed to go kick some other teams ass. On a side note my thoughts go out to you Maple Leafs fans. They still have yet to win a game this season.
