I liked it but towards the end of the series Hei stopped being an active protagonist, and everything was just happening to him with him not doing anything until the final few moments.
Soul Eater 8.5/10
Just started. I love it. It's very cool.

A very interesting story watched the first 26 episodes english dubbed and was impressed. the director was able to convey the strong romance between Keigi and Bell Dandy quite nicely. Some fun humor as Bell Dandy aclimates to the world and others try and find out what and who she is. All told a fun series and im about to watch the second season so we'll see how things progress.

I've watched four episodes of the series so far and I've gotta say despite the slow pacing of it, it's gotten quite interesting. I'm definitely looking to seeing how it goes from here.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. XD; It looks very much like Powerpuff Girls et al, yet it has a lot of mature humour. I'm not sure, but it feels as if its harmless cutesy appearance makes the content more shocking? It's definitely not one for younger viewers.
In short, Panty and Stocking are angels called down from Heaven by the priest Garterbelt to combat wicked Ghosts. However, Panty is a sex maniac and Stocking is a goth with a sweet tooth. This makes for a lot of humour as they slay Ghosts for Heaven Coins.
So far, it looks like Gainax are onto another hit, and I'm looking forward to see how it pans out!

Still great characteriztions and romance. decent plot and continuity. And lots of good fun humor. a nice light hearted romantic comedy.
Only real bad parts are Skuld who cute as a button she may be ranks as one of the most annoying characters out there, shes a brat and a real screeching pain. Keichis infuriating nervousness is overdone in my opinion, I mean ive seen guys who were shy or lacked a little courage around the ladies but this guy makes sea cucumbers look courageous. I mean he throws himself in front of a Powerful world destroying demon to protect Skuld but cant tell bell how he feels.
those ar the only real issues that can drive you nuts. but at the same time as a testament to how much fun the story is that you come back for the next episode just to see if they go beyond hugging andholding hands and wistful looks.
All told a fun series and highly reccomended.

Somehow missed this one when it came out a couple of years ago, but I'm renting it from Netflix right now- up to episode 17 out of 26. The series is based on Nahoko Uehashi's novel and you can tell, it has a very literary flow to it, rather than manga adaptions. (for a similar tone watch Twelve Kingdom's anime adaption) Uehashi's story was so popular that she has been writing a manga adaption in Monthly Shonen Gangan. It's set in mythological Asian fantasy world and concerns a woman spear fighter who goes by the name Balsa and what happens after she takes on the guardianship of the second prince of an emperor. Don't want to give any more of the story away. I'll have to look for the manga now, since I'm enjoying the anime so much.

Moribito is AWESOME! I reccomended it and so did some one else a few pages back.
Cindy robinson who voices Kushina in the Naruto dub gives a great performance as Balsa who is one of my personal favorite Anime characters for her sheer kick@ssedness, and courageous and wise personality.
The series has some great action, and the scene where she takes on 6 assassins with a broken spear and wins is just epic.

Finishes the entire 50 episode run of the series. A fun fast paced and action packed Martial Arts story. Lots of good fights and the hard hard training that drives the hero to the brink of death on more then one occasion. This shows got one of the MOST insane and ecclectic cast of characters I have ever seen. The 6 masters are simultaneously awesome and absolutley hillarious, Kenichi is a classic shonen hero, inept but with a genius for hard work and a will to never give up ever, and a desire to protect those closest to him. Miu is Miss Fan serivce almost assuredly but at the same time shes an incredible fighter and a capable character. The relationship between the two pretty well follows basci shonen tropes and its clear theyre meant to be together.
All told a fun and funny romp through the martial arts genre.

TV Anime 2010
I feel that the last year of anime held a really strong lineup but fall held the strongest overall. Unlike winter 2010 there weren't many episodes I didn't enjoy. I generally watch shows that I like and drop shows that I really can't stomach. So it's pretty biased of me to do the rating. However, it's still my opinion that 2010 was one of the stronger years of anime as a whole... At least in terms of what I prefer. It is also one of the few years where a anime has made me start reading a manga. So looking back good job 2010.
