But really, sasusaku can still happen, if like, dunnoe, Itachi gets killed by Sasuke in the showdown, and well, Sasuke returns to Konoha. Though, Sakura would seriously reconsider, i reckon it can still happen.

The feelings and crush from before still linger i reckon. She spent so much time crying about Sasuke before the arc, and well, trained so hard to save Sasuke, a part of her determination, no matter how small, is definitely affection for Sasuke.

I'm just saying it COULD happen, note i said low possibility, I'm not suggesting it at all.

I dont remember Sakura spending heaps of time crying about Sasuke, and just because she is trying to save Sasuke that doesnt mean she has romantic feelings for him, afterall Naruto is trying extremely hard to save Sasuke too, and i dont think Naruto has romantic feelings for him lol. You have to remember, Sakura would save Sasuke regardless of her feelings, because hes a teammate.

Im not saying she doesnt love Sasuke, only kishi knows that, im just saying the reasons you stated arent very good examples of her still being in love with him.

Hmmmm, wait, guess i focus too much on part I, and well, really, we've all agreed that in Part I, Sakura is too immature at that moment. First love, crush, whatever. Now, she's matured and all that.

That scene was rather touching. However, I see Sasuke's decision as one that has a certain finality to it. Despite all the things Team 7 did together, revenge took priority over all in the end. That, for me, spelled the end of SasuSaku as a possible pairing. Sasuke simply ranks revenge above everything else, even after Sakura confessed her love for him. I don't see how SasuSaku can happen with the mindset he has...

I still remember what an as* Neji was at the start. And face it, at that time, I really think Neji was worse than Sasuke, and come on, even I have to agree that Sasuke has it way tougher than Neji.

If Naruto can change Neji, then surely, SURELy, Kishi might make Sasuke gd again, after killing Itachi or sth. And given Sakura's devotion to him shown by that scene i mentioned, yeah, it COULD happen. Low chance, but COULD.

Yeah, but he won't necessarily effect Sasuke in the romance department.

Really the only romantic views he's interested in changing is Sakura's for him.And while Sakura showed alot of desperation for Sasuke in the break-up scene, she hasn't shown much devotion in Part II.

I dislike it when people use the "clan revival" excuse as a way to justify Sasu X any female. Clan revival is a premise for him to engage in a relationship, but it just reeks of baby machine. BAD.

Women are not baby machines, and Sakura would not consent to such a relationship. SasuSaku wouldn't work out simply because of that, the new Sakura won't defer to Sasuke the way he would want his wife to. If what you're saying about the clan revival is true, then what Sasuke needs is a meek wife who can pump out babies by the dozen. Sakura does NOT fit the bill.

I was NOT justifying the clan revival stuff. I was saying that due to Sasuke wanting to revive the clan, he might accept Sakura in. MIGHT. It's not like he would just go to Sakura to ask. I reckon if it happens, Sakura would be the one to court him, and he agrees because well, he knows literally no other normal females.

The chances of Sakura courting Sasuke are lower than the temperature in the Antarctic. To me, she has outgrown that childish fangirl phase, and if anything Sasuke will be the one to court her. For the express purposes of reviving his clan...

When getting over something takes 'time' it means it's hard to get over.

But as I'm sure others have mentioned SasuSaku is still not completely out of the picture yet. We only know so far of Shippuden Sakura that Sasuke is still very important to her, to what degree of healing or thought she's had about a possible relationship with him still we don't know, but some may argue that her reaction to seeing him again was a good indication of feelings that still linger in the heart.

I think with pairings there are still openings to many possibilities since no one has done any confessing since Sakura, or even any inner monologue about liking someone else and that person vice versa.

Before Sasuke defected, I supported SasuSaku with all my heart. I think the biggest problem for me is that I'm biased when it comes to Naruto, and I can't really forgive Sasuke for skipping along to Orochimaru. I don't want to put too much faith into anything Kishi draws in the manga, because if we see anything remotely acceptable as "evidence", we're all over it like media on Britney without panties.

Yeah. Some moments I think all pairing clubs make too much out of. But as far as media coverage aspect, it's probably cause people like to use the 'see Kishi supports it' arguement, since he's the creator. That's also why so many people like to discount the anime when the moments are a little bigger or more embellished, because it doesn't fit their schema.

SasuSaku has no potential now unless we get through with Naruto & Leaf vs. Team Hebi vs. Itachi and Kisame...

Let us go down the list why SasuSaku was tone down, or basically had been screwed ...

1) Chapter 181 - Out of a desperate Sakura pleading and confessing, leaves a "revenge mood" Sasuke out the village to Orochimaru (and plus the English version made it worse).

2) Chapter 308 - She just said, "Sasuke-kun...!" when she saw him for the first time 3 years and when Naruto came in, Sasuke's attention went straight towards him... Sakura was ignored...

3) The picture - HAS NOTHING to do with SasuSaku. She was crying because she wants the team back together. So its a Team 7 moment, so that got canned...

4) Before the Deidara V. Sasuke fight - when we almost had an "all hell break loose" here from the fans because Naruto was teamed up with Hinata and Sakura tracked down Sasuke's scent... that got canned as well when she walked pass Karin...
