Naruto hasn’t woken up and it’s Inauguration Day. Hinata asks the kids to wake him up. Himawari asks him gently, but boruto tells her she’s too soft. So he jumps on him! Also, the lady who makes the hokage cloaks hasnt finished yet even though its the big day! Naruto remembers thinking that kakashi’s cloak looked a bit… unfinished for his. hinata says she will go pick it up and tells naruto to take the kids straight to the ceremony location, where she’ll bring the cloak to him.

Hinata picks it up and arrives at the place, only to be told by Kakashi naruto hasn’t arrived yet! Back at naruto’s house, boruto and himawari are fighting over a teddy bear, pulling from both ends till it rips! Himawari looks upset from behind. When she turns around, she’s activated the byakugan! (Like how sasuke activates the sharingan, his eyes change pattern/ colour

Okay, I started the post while I was waiting for the movie to start, so here’s what happens next in the chapter:

Himawari is pissed and attacks boruto , throwing him into the wall. She continues to chase him, when naruto steps between them telling them not to fight and they need to get going to the inauguration. But then himawari uses gentle fist on naruto!

Kakashi and shikamaru are still wondering where naruto is, since the ceremony is about to start. So shikamaru asks konohamaru to transform into naruto and take his place!

Meanwhile, Hinata arrives home to find an incompacitated naruto. She realises that his chakra points have been hit and he’ll be out the entire day. She wonders who…

And we see boruto hiding while fearing for his life. After all, his dad got taken out in one hit! He worries that his dad may never wake up again. As he ponders over the thought that his sister can get this terrifying when pushed over the edge, he hears ‘oniicha~~n. Are you playing hide and seek~~? Are you in here~~? Hehehehe’… Himawari says with glowing eyes and a demonic expression as she enters the room.

The side-note reminds us that the byakugan is an ability used for seeing through things with x-ray vision.

The closing lines are ‘To think, Naruto missed the ceremony…!! And himawari is this terrifying…!!’

I still can't believe Naruto was out for a day due to a gentle fist move. 

 

Neji gave kid Naruto a lot of this and he still got up multiple times...is this oneshot saying that kid Naruto >> Adult Naruto?

Did Kishimoto forget that the byakugan cannot be 'activated' like the sharingan. Hahahaha this is so ridiculous. I guess he realised that the kids don't have byakugan like they're supposed to and probably figured, "well, I should probably give it to one of them," and why not the Hinata clone? It's not like she'll show up pretty much at all. He's broken the rules of his own story plenty of times so it's not like it matters.

There's a page where Himawari goes to attack Bolt and Naruto protects him with his body.. Couldn't he have grabbed Bolt out of the way? I thought he was the Hokage (well not yet then but..). Taking him out of the trajectory of a five (?) year old should be no problem. And apparently cause of that he can't go to the ceremony any more.. Cause of what a little kid did. Seriously? and why would she attack her brother with such force..

My point was that it's wasted on mophead. If your going to retcon your mistake, give the Byakugan to the sibling who's actually a ninja. Not the toddler who will probably never wield a kunai

First of all, Boruto the movie is the end. Second, it's highly possible that they did this to have the Hinata of the next-gen or more like Hyuuga. Boruto is Naruto while Himawari is the Hyuuga. Simple as that.

Kishimoto never cared about the byakugan or Hyuugas, so it goes to the irrelevant sister. Simple as that.

My point is that he's trying to mixed in something that Naruto wasn't known or rather formerly known since the series took itself too serious for the past part 2. So anything to make a big moment into a joke can't work.

Okay, they kittened up sharingan and all of it forms, they kittened up rinnengan. They kittened up Sakura's training, so her "spawn" made it in one try and copied it 100%, not it's "surprise" Byakugan can be deactivated, while in manga it was special eyes that was seen white and not changing color they was "activated" only by focusing power, By the logic - Hyuga clan is = Kakashi, because they can't turn off that color of eyes. Wow D: indeed even spawns of "princess" is "elite" by born.

And oneshot of hokage by a 5 years old, that's sweet! Let alone practice of Neji for hitting tenketsu, yeah~ I'm not going to say that this is definition of lucky punch, no, it's BS, that's what it is. And I hope that this is really the last chapter of Naruto sage or whatever, just imagine:

- Start of story - boy who has a dream, a love intrest and found his first bond.

- End of story - men who has 2 childrens with a totally different woman that didn't appear for a major part of story, she hardly can be considered secondary character, his dream - it was made into a joke! And all his bonds - nope, there was nothings shown that he still has all his friends around more than work need it.

He looks perpetually angry and it still has woken up yet. Can't think of a time where he has looked happy.
