How about that we all put aside this banter and just agree that Sasuke is an A S S H O L E and a S H I T T Y  dad. He doesn't deserve a child like Sarada

 

I've been a member of NF's anti-Sasuke fan club since 2009. You don't have to sell me on the idea that Sasuke is a selfish, violent, annoying POS.

You know, Kishimoto has been changing the rules of the Sharingan even before this.

I remember when he said you had to kill your best friend to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan. That is what Itachi said. Then he changed it to more general to that of you have to kill someone who is close to you whether it be friend or family. Someone you love. Then he changed it to that you just have to witness someone dying or lose someone to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Are you really surprised that he changed the requirements now too?
Tobirama described that Uchiha get their power cause they love so much that if they lost what they loved more than anything, they gain immense power. Now, it seems like you can gain it from being "too happy" now or gaining something instead of losing it.

 

 

Yeah, it's why I wouldn't be surprised if there's some really stupid and/or contradicting explanation as to how Shin has a Mangekyo Sharingan. Is Kishi even going to remember its downsides in eventually making the user blind after awakening it while speeding up the process by using it? Also, how could someone like Shin be using it with seemingly no problem, assuming he's not a true-blood Uchiha? After all, Itachi himself mentioned that while someone like Kakashi has the Sharingan, he still lacked the stamina that a full-blooded (trained) Uchiha Clan member would have, so Kakashi would still be at a disadvantage to him, so shouldn't a kid like Shin, unless he had some secret magic training somewhere or something, quickly be exhausted using it?

I'm kinda late, but here are my thoughts about the new chapter (using the mangastream translation):

 

- Chouchou fangirls over Naruto, while people on tumblr only ever talked about her possibly fangirling over Sauce. This pleases me lol.

- Nardo looks really badass, I hope he'll show some nice moves!

- Oh, that's it? Huh. Ok then.

- Also Onion Shin suddenly looks younger than before... I think.

- Looking at the chapter again, I noticed that the first panel showing Salad's sharingan beginning to slowly activate is shown after the scene when Naruto puts his hand on her head and says he'll protect her. At least it seems like a "sharingan activation begins" panel to me. What do you think? 

- Oh, Naruto's old, genuine smile is here! Aww.

- Damn, Naruto's old utter stupidity is here too. He forgot that Salad doesn't know a thing about Sasuke and he causes her to be embarassed about it... and THEN he remembers - "that's right.. he's been away for almost the entire time". Yeah, right Nardo, I don't buy it. Kishi-troll made you a stupid a**hole again.

- Lol at Nardo not thinking about Hinata when he sees the bento. BUT I'm actually mad he doesn't think about his son either, especially since Salad said it's from Bolt.

- To quote someone from tumblr: Nardo doesn't have time to wait 5 minutes for Bolt, but he suddenly has time to have a picnic with Salad & Chouchou. See, Bolt isn't a spoiled brat at all, he just sees through his father's kittentery about being busy. 

- Salad's expressions are too cute!  Also I like the Sasuke talk she had with Nardo, it brought me some team 7 feels + it was funny.

- Guys, I think what Nar meant by saying Salad gets scary when she's mad is her fight with Shin. I mean, both her and Chouchou didn't hesitate to fight him and were pretty good for their age. Also he probably wanted to say something about her being similar to Sakura, so she doesn't feel bad. *shrugs*

- And I loved how he tried to cheer up Chouchou too, despite her not being a precious Uchiha lol.

 

Ok here come the complaints:

 

- I don't quite buy Salad not being able to wait a little more to meet her dad since she knows there are bad guys out there, etc. BUT what I don't buy even more is Naruto choosing to rest instead of making a shadow clone to carry Chouchou if she's really that tired. She would love that.   And he was in such a hurry before, sheesh...

- I don't get why Salad seems to want to hug her father when she meets him. Shouldn't she want to question him about his absence instead? Be sad and angry, like she was with her mother? Here comes the magic power that Sauce the Innocent uses on everybody so they forgive him everything, I guess... ugh.

- This cliffhanger either means that Sasuke doesn't know he has a daughter or he's actually saying this stuff to someone standing behind Salad, like someone already mentioned here. I so hope it's not the second option, that would be ultra lame. Also him not knowing about Salad would be actually interesting.

 

PS. I hate the fact that Sauce will be Bolt's mentor in his movie... Keep him away from all the children!

I would like to give my opinion about "Sarada acts like Sakura".

I still think that gaiden is zero, don't mistaken me.

But IMO, Kishi succeed in making Sarada acts like her parents.

She's very intelligent and observant, like Sasuke and Sakura.

She's determinate, like Sakura.

She's even showing the same expressions Sasuke or Sakura made in the past at school.

And the face she's making while talking to Naruto is totally Sakura all over.

The way she reacts toward Naruto too. Sakura all over. Just look at her guys.

Her expressions, the feelings in her eyes, the shape of her mouth when Naruto is comforting her. It's Sakura all over.

Yeah I forgot about this but what the heck was Naruto on about when he said that Sarada's personality is just like Sakura? They are not even remotely similar, the first chapter she was a female not as angsty with a better personality version of Sasuke.

 

Also I found it really amusing when Naruto said that Sarada looks like Sasuke, specially around the eyes because the eyes were the area SS fans were claiming were from Sakura weren't they? There was this comparison poster trying to prove she is Sakura's daughter and not Karin's and now Kishi is debunking that saying she's just like Sasuke in looks.

 

Also I noticed the last pages Salad is missing her backpack, I wonder if this was a mistake on Kishi's end or if he's so out of idea's he's reusing the Chunin Exams henge trick...Kishi's done both so often that it could be either.

Yeah, only person  that thought of Hinata was Bolt, and she looked like a right miserable person in the drawing, also aparently he doesn't remember what his mother looks like because that was the version of Hinata from the movies, chapter 700 showed us she had grown her hair long again.
