That's what I'm thinking too. Tbh I only see the Part 3 spin off as a set up for the movie which comes in August. I'll give Kishi this at least this is new generation spin off manga has somewhat of planning to it.

..............then you read Nardo where Kishi decides to bring back Obito at the end of the chapter

Byakugan is such a lame doujutsu smh, I don't think kishi would put it in any naruto's kids
the thing about "he forgot to put the byakugan " is BS, I think he didntt put there purposely
^ So true. He probably didn't want Naruto's kids to have ugly ghost eyes. Not good for advertisement.

i think the first chapter will be about everyone in the village having high expectations for bolt since he's the seventh hokage's son, but he's not living up to it. bolt will also seek out sarada because she's the only one in the village that get's him, seeing as the two can relate to daddy neglect.

this is shonen after all
but ahh to see NH and SS raging hard if this happens and then turning into anti ending just because their pairing got retconned
And really, even if that happened I would still be anti ending and anti part 3, my reason to dislike them go beyond the pairings

After the original series ended I told myself pairing wars are it, I'm very neutral about it when it comes to Bleach and Fairy Tail, but for Naruto at the very least ugh.. I honestly am not going to invest my time when it comes to the romance subplot of this spin off. However the only way I'm going to consider it is if the development is proper and consistent, but that doesn't mean it'll be like the old NaruSaku days when those moments. At best I'm probably going to be like Oh okay that was a nice little moment between them instead of going like "OMG it feels like canon is almost upon us." I fell for that trap once when it comes to Kishi but that trick won't work on me twice.
When it comes to chapter 1 I think it's going to be similar to how the original series started. You know brief explanation on the history of the great hero Naruto Uzumaki The Seventh Hokage, and then boom we get to see Boruto is doing and Sarada for sure. As I stated before though I honestly feel like this Part 3 spin off which comes out on thursday is gonna be a set up for the upcoming movie.
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!
