It'll probably be the last SP anime I watch, ever lol. I might like it, who knows. Are the serious parts done well?

I'm not sure who that is lol I might not watch it before Akatsuki no Yona though...I probably won't.

Yes, I was very satisfied with specific scenes that I deemed important in my eyes: For instance, that scene where Yona tells Hak to refer to her as "princess", that scene where she shoots down the major of Awa, that scene where she meets Sonwoo again in Awa, or that scene towards the end where Hak and Yona where in the cave and he kissed her on the forehead. Animation could be better and sometimes they tend to get lazy, but it's nothing major to complain about in my eyes. Besides from that, Hak and Yona bickering at each other in movement is x10 better XD You'd be surprised though how ridiculously closely the anime sticked to the manga- I can't remember the last time I've seen that.

I need more of those sidestories, imao XD

I heard red vs blue is really good, but not my thing.

The anime is a bit slow in the beginning (well, it follows the manga XD), so yeah. Glad though that it is 24 episodes long, not like kittening Tokyo Ghoul you know. Season 1 for Akatsuki no Yona covered about 44 chapters or so, while 12 episodes covered about 66 chapter -.- The pacing is done right in my eyes with Akatsuki no Yona.

Also, anyone else wonder what Il had against Sunwoo (whatever his name is)? He was adamantly against Yona's crush in the beginning before he died, maybe that will get expanded on later.

Dunno, prob has something to do with the cryptic past of Yona's father and his older brother Yu-Hon. I'm sure that we'll find out soon why Yona's dad presumably murdered his own brother and why he was chosen as emperor.

I personally think he is. He is doing his best to raise the defense around his country. He is traveling around trying to get a close look at the current situation of Kouka's five tribes. He's also charming enough to win (the majority) of the generals' trust which he is in dire need of seeing how the plot has been progressing lately. Not to forget, he was able to prepare a strategy to defeat Firelord Ozai Kan Soo-Jin quickly which immensely boosted the five tribe's moral.

But while I deem him a good emperor for Kouka alone, I'm uncertain what the future for Kouka would hold if he remained emperor. As things are going on, Sunwoo is simply repeating that cycle of war and the reconquering of lands... Yona is traveling to see the empires and people beyond Kouka for herself.

Idk, he's walking around to get a look, true, but it doesn't seem like he's actually invested into what's going on. Whenever he "acts" it's more like he notices someone doing something weird, or an occurrence happens out of nowhere, and he just goes to check what it's about. I don't think he's actually shown any care for any of the citizens he's supposed to rule over yet. The only thing he seems interested in is power at this point.

Yeah, it was sad as kitten though I am kinda glad that we're gonna get back into the main story now though, my body is ready for more Hak and Yona moments
