There use to be a time where the only couple that mattered to me (my one and only otp) was NoelxSerah from Final Fantasy XIII-2.  

Warning- OTP Rant: And till this day I still throw temper tantrums at how they never got together. I mean, really, I spent over 24 hours trying to save their fate and watching them grow together. They stuck with each other through thick and thin. It was the type of relationship you would wish anybody to have! To be so close to each other, yet nothing happened. Cause in the end, Noel was still fond of a girl (who, by the way, acted just like Hinata) who dies constantly and Serah was still engaged to Snow even after he left her for 2 years. And I think what pissed me off the most was that Serah and Snow were supposed to be the main relationship yet it's never confirmed if they ever got married, it was never showed, yet for some odd reason the developers had to confirm that Yuel and Noel are living happily ever after. Bull-kitten.

Why are Snow and Serah even "together"? It's stated somewhere that Snow is like the decreased dad from Lightning (Claire) and Serah - So Serah/Snow is basicly Serah dealing with her father complex. Kinda sick. 

 

Same with Noel/Yeul. Why does he love her? Because she is the last girl on Pulse? Come on ...

Omg yes you understand!!     Like it made no sense for Noel to be in love with Yuel. None. And I'm not saying that Yuel was a bad girl (cause she wasn't. Her fate wasn't her fault) but liking her because she was the only girl around was just bad writing. I mean Serah was portrayed to be like Yuel in some ways, and Noel literally went on a life journey with Serah. It just sucks because, AN ENTIRE GAME WAS CREATED FOR THESE TWO yet they have BS reasons why they never got together.And don't even get me started on how Noel wanted to kill Lighting just to be with Yuel. Uggggghhhhhh..... 

 

And as for Snow, I understand his pain for not seeing Serah in Lighting Returns, and honestly I don't hate SnowxSerah. But I refuse to forgive Snow for leaving Serah alone for 2 years. They could have at least gotten married before he left to seal the deal but...they didn't. They never did. And the epilogue books make their situation way worse.  

 

Okay, and hear me out. I don't really like YunaxTidus from FF10. It was so forced, I'm sorry. I really didn't feel any romantic chemistry between them before they kissed. I just thought Tidus didn't want her to marry someone she barely knew and that Yuna wanted more company. I know it sounds weird but I would have preferred Tidus and Rikku.

hmm I can't really call it as my OTP in its truest meaning but lately i've been losing sleep watching Hanasakeru Seishounen.

that kid is too hot, i grew fond of Rumati since he isn't your typical bishounen or perhaps my usual type of guy in anime

Yes! You and me- let's sink together (although the anime will end before any ship will become cannon). I'm not a big fan of Danmachi, but as long as Aiz is in there, I'll keep watching it. She and that red-haired guy are my favorites right now.

 

All Aboard the Sink Ship! might start reading the manga after the anime ends, as i like the concept of Gods as im a big PJ fan. I love that Bell still uses Aiz as the reason he wants to get stronger <3 and yes that blacksmith guy is a coool dude ;P

Soma X Erina from Shokugeki no Soma

I can't believe how much this ship has grown on me even though I've barely caught up on to the manga, and am mostly following the anime...

Believe me, not even two months ago, I thought I would have given this shounen series a try, mainly b/c of the cooking manga's notorious foodgasm scenes. And the anime did not disappoint at all in this aspect: In fact, the fanservice scenes are even worse in animated version. And storywise, some of the characters are very generically written in my eyes. I was almost about to drop the series after I've seen episode 1. Thank God I didn't. Because now, surprisingly, I've gradually grown to like this anime a lot, and am actually planning to finish the manga before the anime concludes. And it's food guys... I grow weak in front of cooking series.

Those two up there... THOSE TWO! I wouldn't even call Erina one of my favorites right now. She's sometimes so unbearable that I just wished that she was kicked out of school (ok, that's a bit exaggerated, but you get the point). Every one pretty much agrees that she's a narcissistic and stuck-up tsundere who only tries to ruin Soma's life as much as she can (so I've been told). As far as I know, those two haven't even entered the "friendship level" yet. Strangely though, among the fanbase this ship sails a lot stronger than a I thought and has found equal footing if not even stronger than SomaxMegumi. Like many others, I think the instant appeal many find in these two is that a) their relationship might be challenging but also more... satisfactory when both finally open up to each other (especially Erina), b) their complicated connection due to some outside circumstances in the past, and c) the foreshadowing since the kittening first chapter (thx Soma's dad). I can't wait to see Soma being the one to change Erina- there's nothing more fulfilling than seeing how a ship you support becoming cannon b/c one of others had a positive influence on the other one.

I always like tsundere reactions. They always bring out the wacky aspects. I don't know why I can't get tired of her walking down all cool until her assistant told her that Soma got the highest grade.

Erina's the type of tsundere I like XD I'm always iffy with tsunderes. Either it works, or it doesn't. And she impresses me.

But I'd also like to compliment Megumi: She could have easily turn out to be an annoying, shy character aka Hinata-sama. But no: She's actually a sweet and likable girl in my eyes. Any manga that can convince me with those kind of shy characters, deserves my respect, lol, especially after Naruto.
