I hope so. More so I hope he finds what he's looking for, which is emotions. I'm still worried about my second otp, JerichoxBan....My first otp already died (HauserxDiane) which made my original 2nd otp my main otp as of now (KingxDiane), which means that JerichoxBan is now promoted to being my new 2nd otp.  

 

But at this point I really doubt that Ban will ever give up Elaine. Ever. 

 

But since I'm the only shipper, I'll call it Baricho or even better- Jan (lol). I'm the only one sailing this ship so I'll sink with it. I find it so much more appealing than Blaine. Jericho and Ban could have a way better dynamic than Elaine and Ban. Elaine is too soft-spoken and comes off as too innocent for a person like Ban.

In addition, to that, Ban would continue viewing his life as hell w/out Elaine (which I don't think he does b/c he is 24 h surrounded by his friends, but I get what he means). He needs to learn to move on. Meliodas was more or less able to do that after Elizabeth died, which is one of the reasons why I like Meliodas a lot more than Ban. Meliodas can actually look forward, while Ban is still stuck in the past. Jericho is still alive. She is a great woman in my eyes whose feistous spirit clicks better with Ban in my eyes.

Let's hope Ban will learn to accept Elaine's death. This is too much Edo Tensei BS for me.

Of course, I remember that. It's not like I purposely forgot all these (ridiculously short) moments they have shared. I know that Elaine was the first to talk to Ban and listen to his story. Both were lonely and were thirsty for someone to listen to their stories.

It's not like she ever saw this bandit site of him. What I care about the most is that Ban learns to move forward. Starcross lover stories such as that of Blaine are underdeveloped.

Fact is, forest didn't take Ban as bandit, not even for a moment. All his life (I assume he lived poorly) he just tried to survive and all times when he stole it was food and etc. So he lived that way.

Yeah, that is true. And I'm glad he was able to bond with someone. But pls, don't tell the readers that that is true love. It pisses me of that he doesn't see that his friends - especially Meliodas- don't think about him so either. I guess seeing him betray Meliodas was the final straw for him. We could argue that the bonds he created with the other members is actually stronger.

I recommed you to read the series Magi. The art is not so good, and it doesn't look too promising at the beginning, but you'll see how everything unfolds into an epic adventure.

But considering Elaine was his first friend and lover I guess that would be incredibly hard. But Jericho is literally right there trying to support him now, even if they do have a bad past with each other. I bet you if he just took a chance to try and talk to her and learn about her past with her brother he would at least consider her a valuable friend.

- Diane... did they even interact? lmao

- King, said himself he didn't even intrested from where Ban got his immortality.

- Merlin is intresting in every not normal person.

Other characters had even less scenes with him if thay do at all.

On other hand Ban genuinely intrested in Meliodas's backstory and his sword (we saw that), and he cared for King's feelings about his sister.

Granted, Ban was happy when he was among sins, but that was careless side of his, when he tried to feel emptyness in his heart. All those 20 years had fun, but he didn't have purpose to live. And even one chance to bring back Elaine - gave him courage.

Ban isn't someone who will move on, now all the time of universe in his hands, so he don't know fear fo aging, and thus - can wait as long as it needed.

Pls don't make references to Naruto T_T So many wonderful interactions and development b/w Naruto and Sakura... Makes all the couples in NnT look pathetic in my eyes.

Glad we agree that the relationship b/w Ban and Elaine was unrealistic and hardly true love. It rubs me the wrong way as a reader that I'm supposed to buy this from two extra chapter. Ifeel pity for both of them, that's it. I honestly don't like the romance in NnT in here at all in general- too cheesy for me.

Granted, we don't know how his relationships with the other member was during these years, but at least from Meliodas I'd expected more devotion and faith. Naturally, both don't want to tell each other about their secrets b/c they are now "sinners", and it is a rule to not ask each others about their sins. So it is no wonder that Meliodas never found out about Elaine.

Well, but Ban did found out about King's past. 

For him to move on is rather impossible, for moving on you need a point or such where you head from your past and does Ban has one? Elaine literally was that "something good" for him, that he waited for, most of his life, and she was taken from him. And even if Ban wanted to move on, does he has any chance? He was served into prison and executed for something he didn't even do, depending on his life expirience he already not searching for any "justice" in the world, he just living through each day in hope for something good to appear.

So... how many people would like to share something with 2 meters high scary-looking guy in a leather suit? Because it was pictured by Nakaba - that no person in willing to speak with him on their own, because how scary he appears at first sight. Take it, that even more behind him - he is one of the 7 great deadly sins (we know he didn't do anything bad for takeing this title, but even closest friends of his didn't, so chance's that person will try to overcome this is pretty close to 0).

So... moving on from literally only good thing that took place 20-30 years ago while you immortal? I highly doubt that.

It really is nothing but a crush from Jericho at this point. But the issue lies within the potential of the couple. Like you've said, many of the other characters didn't care too much of anything about Ban, but Jericho is willing to take the time to actually be around him (even is she is doing it completely tsundere-like). Also, it's the dynamic of Jericho and Ban. Both are somewhat anti-heroes more or less, and Jericho seems to have a strong willpower to prove and stand up for herself. Someone with her personality would be able to handle someone like Ban who's supposed to be "wild and crazy". But there's one problem that both Elaine and Jericho have: they don't know Ban enough. I'd even go as far to say that Elaine only had a crush on Ban as well, since she only knew him for about a week. 

 

I think Melodias knew about Ban more than anybody else, if anything.

I don't know, but I'm just expecting a disappointing ending. I've yet to come across a shounen with an ending I'm happy with...it's like I'm preparing myself for the worst... 

 

I kind of already expect everyone to be paired at the ending though. I'm counting on that for sure.
